- If you're wanting to get the most out of your dance practice, lesson, performance or competition then you've got to prepare your body for the physical requirements of the dancing. Use this short warmup before every practice and you'll feel the difference having a warm body will make to the quality of your dancing.
Using a combination of active stretching and mild muscle activation exercises, this is a great little routine get your body used to.

I did this warm up and then didn’t have the energy to dance! Can you please post an exercise for quick step step hops and the other steps in quickstep.
