The graffiti artists like your commuter trains. They like the grain hoppers mostly in Australia because they sit in sidings in the off season for months.

Commuter trains are a popular target here because they don't always sit at the depot overnight.
For instance in my city the last train of the day comes in at 1:51AM and the next one departs for Porto at 4:18AM. Between that period it gets stored at a station siding (which is unguarded), making this and many trains like it an easy target.
