- In this video, watch Martha Stewart demonstrate one of the all-time great summer barbecue recipes, and she’s even doing it without a smoker. Homemade sauce and dry rub give this pulled pork incredible flavor, while searing in a Dutch oven followed by cooking in the oven at a low temperature makes for moist, tender meat every time. Serve this flavorful shredded pork shoulder on a bun with coleslaw or potato salad for a side!

MARTHA THE GOAT. always been my fav since i was a young lad.
I'm not a big pork person but I think this won me over.
Look very delicious 🤤 😋 I love pull pork
Certified Gold!!!!!
I used this Pork Rub in a crock pot, great flavor.
How long in crock pot? And on low?
Looks delicious Martha!!!
gracias
I'm adding a few apples 🍎 to the pot 😋
Never can go wrong with Martha.. Hehehe thx
Lovely. Martha do you warm up the bbq sauce or cannit be used straight from the bottle?
I have a pork butt in the freezer it’s coming out to thaw for tomorrow’s dinner. Think a nice slaw would go very nice with the pulled pork sandwich. Think I will go to the garden get some kale and herbs and toss some in the slaw.
Hi Christine how're you doing today?
@@nicolaswalter6996 hi nicolas how're you doing today ?
Im here because I have one and dont know what to do with.
Do what she said, and mix whatever you want into it, after shredding the shoulder.
Additional spices, marinades; or, portion it up into different meal ideas with their own blends of flavor. Just be sure it retains its moisture. That keeps a sholder soft and edible for anyone eating.
👍👍👍👍👍
How do I clean the pot, I've soaked it but it's welded on!???
Have you tried boiling it? It always works out for me, and if it's too stuck, I would add a dash of vinegar into the water.
Baking soda also works wonders!
😍😍😍
😘😘😘😘
👍😋
So, I'm totally confused. I thought what you had there was a butt not a shoulder. I thought a shoulder was longer and triangle shaped with less fat. And would you see any benefit to to injecting that piece of pork? I need help. Thanks.
Its called a pork butt, but its the shoulder of the pig. I know its confusing. That's what they call it, tho. I asked the butcher.
Stab holes into the meat so the seasoning gets inside!
Cooking it for 6 hours and basting it every hour, plus seering the outside at the beginning holds alot of flavor
you should let it rest 30-60 minutes before shredding it
😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
You didn't add any binder to make the seasoning adhere to the meat
Didn’t remove the outer fat layer first?
Can just imagine analien cooking show, where they are cooking us and explaining it like this. Rick and Morty already do this lol?
hey is Snoop Dogg okay and Snoop Dogg and the dog house SOS
V😄😂😂🤣🙂
Just a little tip, do not cover the pork butt while it is marinating in the fridge
Agree
Why/
Why?! 😮please share!!!!
@@gogetter0009usually with a dry brine, the air circulation around the meat is better.
@UghUgh1234 Ohhhhhh good to know 😀 thx alot
Browning is useless, it browns on its own in the oven
Thanks the planet, disposable gloves just for rubing...
She really isn't good at this. It really puts things in perspective.
Lol. You're weird as hell for this comment
Way too much stuff for a dry brine...but...you do you...AND plastic wrap? #FOH....I'm done
She spends a lot of time around meat......the cooking kind. Hannibal Lector like. ..........she never adds FABA beans.....or how ever that is spelled, I never use those. Just say' in......
She got that kind of racists look
You are being ridiculous!
