@@tombarac8253 its a known conversation tactic to make people feel like you are engaging. Repeating back what people say is taught for those reasons. It is also just unnatural in general to make videos and podcasts so its hard to criticize, he does a pretty good job overall. I just love the proper way they speak because that is somehow the sales culture around these products. Not quite the case for non-cubans.

Some may say that these videos go over the top with the civility. Yes we forget it is precisely because of the loss of this hallmark of a great civilization, that we have so many problems in the world today. When strong moral men act in a civilized manner then we progress as nations. Well done Kirby and Eddie for reminding us of this.

@@gabrielcastillo13 Whatever happened in Cuba, and I don’t want to downplay it, but Cuba has become truly an unique place where many aspects of society are superior to what is going on in the west. It is not a contest, but it’s just something to enjoy and appreciate. So we can be measured in our respons, like Kirby, Eddie and Edward. Again, that’s easily said without having the experience of living there, but I see so much I appreciate, so much I’d like to see in The Netherlands where I live. In the west smoking is under attack and sometimes we are under attack when smoking a cigar on the streets, yet in Cuba it is celebrated when you do it. So enjoyable!

As much as I agree with you about the completely insane US restrictions, one has to wonder what would happen if the market is completely opened up to the USA. The current level of Cuban production just could not handle it, they will be overwhelmed. Prices will be even more unaffordable than they already are. Of course, I am English, and might not be saying that if I was American!

Yet you can't do this in other latin American countries or in the Caribbean or you will get robbed and most like killed in some places. I’m Cuban born and raised there. Remember all the people you see on this video are suffering and cursing the day they were born on this island. You will often see lines of people sitting on the sidewalks, most of the time those lines are for buying simple things such as bread or eggs. People are really struggling. The young people are migrating and leaving the country. Out of All of the people I studied with I would say half have already left and the other half are dying to leave. My entire family has left during the past ten years, some 20+ people or so. Watching this video as a Cuban is truly heartbreaking to me. I’m “Americanized” now but at the end of the day these are still my people. I walked those streets so many times.

@@kimtoannhan7275 Thank you! As an FYI. When it comes to health care it is true it is technically “free”. Except that when you take into account the fact that right now if you need surgery, let’s say, you the individual has to bring the gloves, syringes, anesthesia, and all the instruments to be used in the procedure. And also don’t forget the little gift to the medical team. Lastly, salaries are so bad that it would be better to have no free healthcare and higher salaries. That would still not be good given the fact that they pay you in Cuban pesos but most of the goods they (the state) sells you are in US dollars or another foreign currency. So the average Joe can’t even buy shit. Don’t be fooled Cuba is a disaster area, Cubans migrate anywhere including Haiti or Congo cause that island is just a prison with palm trees.

Every time I see a new video is out and wait until the evening when my everyday life is over and then I sit down in my cigar room smoke a Cuban and watch your videos. I'm looking forward to Gala Dinner if there is a video. Keep up the good work Kirby for President

So unusual to see you dressed so casually! I love seeing you because of your incomparable style! You, the Sahakians and the Foulkes! Always polite, always courteous, real gentlemen! Keep it up - a real, real gourmet format! Big, big respect!

Kirby this series was worth the wait! You really showcased Cuba, the Cuban people and your friendship with the Sahakians.
    Excellent work
    Side note question:
What travel bag is Eddie Sr using? Love the look and colors of that bag.
    Thanks again, muchas gracias, cheers!

It's people, it's history, it's land, it's culture.....it's communism. Hell, you'd think the Cubans have it better than anyone in the world watching this video. I'm sure it's great fun when you got plenty of money, cigars, and you can leave whenever you want to. These cultures always seem so quaint and cozy to those from first world countries with money and freedom.
