The members initially performed this song as one of their frequent talent evaluations during their trainee days. The free verse rap at the end was written by Jennie and Lisa while trainees. Oh wow!!! Look at that. I don't think JYP would have missed a chance to come and check out a version from BACKPINK on one of his favorite artists song....and YG served him proper. He came prepared and the girls at the moment executed that performance effortlessly 👏👏. They proved how talented they were because I could see and feel the confidence as I watched this reaction as a fan...so imagine another big/ great kpop representer experiencing that for himself live and him enjoying it as much as we saw him do, then that becomes a no brainer that they will be something great..which they ended up becoming.
