I am a former Ogaki citizen. I went to the Ogaki Festival this year with my family. In the morning we went to Hachiman Shrine and took many pictures of the floats. Maybe it's been 3 years since I've been there? My daughter noticed and told me, "Your father was on UA-cam. There was someone from Ogaki Cable TV, though. Was it him? I was surprised to hear that the Ogaki festival was also registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. I have a friend in UNESCO Japan, but I did not know that. Among the floats, I like the catfish mountain. It may be hard to say since it is my relatives, but what impressed me recently is the Kagurayama... It is a wonderful performance. Starting tomorrow, I will be working. It is the beginning of a hard week for old people. I am looking forward to next year's event.
大垣を離れて３５年…。歳をとると故郷への想いが強くなりますね。
子供の頃から大垣まつりの車山が大好きで、中でも鯰やまが大好きでした。歳をとった今、神楽やまに感動し涙が出てきました…すばらしい演技ですね…演じている中の方とかへの想いもありますね。
また通常開催になったら帰ります！！
