Honestly, jeans are not a personality trait, if you feel comfortable wearing only skinny or baggy or both that's fine. I switched from skinny to baggy a few months ago because I love following recent trends. Don't use the terms millennials or gen z as excuses.

I don't mind the boot cut... I know for skinny jeans... I am not a skinny jean person. Working in retail and have to wear skinny jean. It gets so uncomfortable awhile. Maybe it's just me though. The chafing. Especially in the summer time. I am over it to an extent.

I'm an old lady and when wide leg and boot cut jeans got out of hand, I was having flashbacks to my childhood in the 70s with bell-bottoms (flares)... I kept saying, "We already did this so you don't have to!" I'm all in for the slim and skinny jeans. But I'm bigger, so mine tend to have a little stretch and that makes all the difference in the tightness!
