I am so thankful you take the time to describe the scent of each product. I am sensitive to floral scents so this is very helpful to know. I am so glad I found your channel! 😊💕
Loving your videos Hannah. You have an effortless presence behind the camera. Loving the content as a curly girl and look forward to seeing more of your videos x
so, i'm one of those girls who have wavy/curly hair but it jusy turns big and dry and frizzy. then i realized that maybe it just cause im not treating it very well. so I just bought my sulfate free shampoo and am starting my curly hair journey soon!
I thought the Giovanni gel smelled fresh...went to smell and yup...lettuce!😅😂 Well, lettuce smells fresh! It's a very light clean smell so it layers well over anything else you might have in your hair. Thanks for the video!
I bought the Giovanni gel after watching your styling video and LOVE it soooo much!! Best gel I've used so far! I've wanted to try the Aussie gel as well, but not sure if it's worth it since they changed the formula, so dissapointing! I wish companies wouldn't do that 😔. Definitely going to try the Pantene as well! My hair loves mousse. Thanks for this video, great info! Happy New Year!!!
So glad you love the gel too!! It’s an amazing one! The new formula is okay and if you’ve not used the old one you probs wouldn’t be disappointed, but it is hard to get in the UK so I’d stick to the Giovanni 👌🏼
I didn't know how to describe the smell of the JBCO mask by Shea moisture and play dough is accurate! haha my hair likes that one, I personally prefer to deep condition on already clean hair unless it's especifically a pre poo treatment like oils or a dyi mask, because I feel like I can't detangle my hair with a deep conditioner unless its consistency is really thin :)
So glad Ulta sales Naughty brand hair products online, in the U.S. I’m going to buy it on payday because I’ve been looking for a good lightweight leave in. The curl creams I use are usually thinner and more for defining so I feel like I don’t get enough moisture. I also love gel ❤️
Great video Hannah! Thank you! I can never put my hand on what some products smell like but the JCBO is definitely play-doh and the LA Hold is definitely lettuce! 😂 Do you think we can start a petition for the Aussie original formula?! I wasn't lucky enough to try the original one but so many people rave about it! Oh and let's add to the petition for them to actually sell it over here!
Thank you! Unfortunately the frizz ease gel contains silicones which I avoid as part of following the curly girl method. It’s personal preference though, so if you get great results with it that’s fab!
@@hanzcurls oh that's right, but my hair just loves it! the curly girl method does seem to make your curls look absolutely fabulous though, so I might just try it once I get the courage haha
I'm so glad I found your channel! Your hair is super similar to mine in texture/fineness/curl type so I'm STOKED to try the products & processes you recommend. Too many years of brushing through my waves has made them v sad
I’ve heard a lot of stories of deva curl gone wrong and making a lot of people lose hair. It might be different for you but definitely do your research
Can you make a video on drugstor products? I like to explore many brands not just 'expensive' ones. I know prices vary but i would like to see a more affordable list of products. Specially for an everyday girl who may not always be able to buy these special products, not to mention we are not lucky to have these companies gifting us all this shit
Was thinking of trying the noughty shampoo. Is the to the rescue one really moisturizing? I’m trying to pick one to buy. My hair can be frizzy but it’s not really dry so I wouldn’t want to overdo it haha
GabbyFormando The To The Rescue contains protein so I find it balances my hair out nicely. My hair gets overmoisturised very easily and I don’t find this too heavy x

I absolutely love the Pantene mousse. I thought it wasn’t curly girl friendly so I stopped using it. But now I can use it again!!! ❤️
Just check the ingredients

I have very similar hair type to you so I LOVE gel too. My hair is like an 80s refugee. One hard hold gel I love is Spiralicious Styling Gel.

Giovanni LA Hold gel definitely smells like lettuce! Love your videos! Keep up the good work! Oh, and it is Pan-teen, lol 🤣

Thank you! So glad I’m not the only one that picked up on those smells! Yes let’s start a petition😂
What hair line from noughty hair products are better? Hello Waves line or To the Rescue line?????
I just found your channel and subscribed instantly!! Keep it up!
you should definitely try the John Frieda Frizz Ease Clearly Defined Gel! it's absolutely amazing!! great video btw x

Hi Hanna :) could you make a video on how you do your haircut?
I was going to ask the exact same thing!
Yes! me too!
Piling on with that request...please do a haircut video. I'm too nervous to go to a salon with Covid still running amok.
Not hair related, but LOVE the colour of your wall! haha

I can’t use products with fragrance. Any suggestions for curly girl fragrance free products?
Jessicurl do a fragrance free option

hanzcurls thanks so much I’ll look into it. :) My hair is more normal than dry but I do heat style sometimes.
I live in Australia and I can’t even find this brand
Don’t worry I get the same problem. Priceline has Shea moisture and noughty hair products Soto check them out!
Nushi Monster omg such a coincidence! I use both of those products like now! Haha Priceline is awesome
What store can I buy Noughty products?
Boots and Superdrug do it.
If in the USA, online at Ulta.com
