Are there areas that are more prone to this kind of weather in Tennessee? What areas are safer?

They definitely do, there are a lot of ppl in waverly and Humphreys co. that have been there their whole life. The pop. is only about 4300 & they lost over 45% of the homes. God def had his angels watching over the ppl that day cause we only lost 20. But Heaven has 20 more angels now.

@@jesus1sl0rd56 yes, the reason waverly got almost swept off the map is because the Trace Creek over flowed up in Dickson, Tn. & Waverly is down hill from Dickson. So by the time 17in of rain got to Waverly it had picked up so much speed that it busted thru the berm under the railroad tracks and basically took out half the town...well you saw the video. I grew up there and the Waverly that I know is now gone.

    *ABC's of Salvation*
    *A* - Admit you're a sinner in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:10, 6:23)
*B* - Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins (1Corinthians 15:3-4)
*C* - Call upon the Name of the Lord and be saved (Romans 10:9-10, 10:13)
Believe what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross and be saved. As Paul said in the book of *Ephesians 2:8-9* - _For by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works lest any man should boast._

i was one of the lucky ones who lived on a hill during the flood, but i still wasnt affected by the water. Our basement flooded, power went out for a couple days, and we only just got water back a few hours ago, real tragedy.

@@opinionhated3104 But I don’t hear anyone proclaiming how good God is when their loved one is killed in the flood. So, He’s good when he saves someone, and when He doesn’t, that’s because it’s for the good of all that He sacrifices some. Convenient. He wins no matter what he does. Y’all have been duped.

My 79 yo mother hung on to a light pole for 3 hours, I hung in a tree for 4 hours and my husband of 20 years was killed in the flood, he drowned. He was the love of my life and we were never apart.
