Thank you!! I couldn't twist it to save my life and that screwdriver idea helped a lot.
Is there a video on how to put the top arm back in?
if the hose connected to the top of the upper spray arm disconnected, what could I use to either repair it or replace it.
Mine doesn’t have the holes it has a small bolt
Can anyone help find the filter for the hotpoint hda2000g02ww ??
thanks
Hey there! For the life of me I can't unscrew the spray arm base, including using a screwdriver/allen wrench as pictured. It really feels like it's not screwed in, and like the base is stationary. Is that possible? I read that other models have a "clip" that you can push inward to release the spray arm, but I can't find that either. This looks to be my model, so I'd love any advice you can get. Thanks.
My experience was the same. But with some force in the correct direction to loosen it finally rotated free. There is a clip that you pull out and it frees up the rotating arm. Removing it first will make removing the base a lot simpler %
There's a model that looks the same but instead of screwing it out it just pops out you have to reach behind it with a flathead screwdriver being careful not to break the tab thats holding it in cause your spray arm won't stay in if you do. I'm maintenance at some old appartments and I run into it daily
Pour boiling water on it first. I don’t think this apt dishwasher has ever been thoroughly cleaned but will be now
And when the screwdriver technique doesn't work and you break a peice of plastic ..... how am I to remove this thing now?
Didn't need 20 min intro instruction but thanks lol
This was EXTREMELY helpful! The Screwdriver worked great and help pry it loose so I could unscrew it! Thanks for this video.
Right?????? This guy should be on Shark Tank, thank you so much!!!!!
