Ok. A number of rather profound things came up for me while watching this. First: Pretty sure this is now my absolute favorite YT channel. Second: As someone who does a bit of poetry, a bit of music, and a bit of photography, I have been thinking more and more of different ways that I might be able to weave all these disparate threads of my creative endeavors and this has given me SO much food for thought. Third: You have also given me a GROOVY new tool to play with! So thank You! (provided of course I can get it to work on my machine...Still haven't been able to get PureData to run on my Macbook Air...but looking very forward to giving it a wing!) Also as a middle-aged, middle(lower?)-income dude from middle-America on a more than mildly restricted budget who is just beginning to figure out what kind of art he wants to make when he grows up, I love the open-source nature of environments like this. So again, Thank You!!! Fourth: I can't believe it has taken me this long to click through to your Bandcamp page (shame on me...). Love your style, both sonic and visual, love your method, love your words. Very much looking forward to exploring your musical explorations. Fifth: What are the chances? Both of my father's parents came to the US from Slovenia at the end of the 19th century and, as it happens, my grandmother came from Ljubljana! Holy Crap the world grows ever smaller..... Apologies for the length of my comment, but damn......I kinda feel like the whole world just shifted a little bit around me.... Peace!
thank you so much for such a lovely and thoughtful comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hope you can get superCollider working on your computer! all the best!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful takes. I’m am experimental musician who packed it up many years ago. Now it’s getting all unpacked and I’ve been spending lots of time on what additional gear to swim in sonic landscapes. Well, I have a monome Norns on the way and some of the old scripting habits are still operating and will definitely check out superlied. Cheers!
is there a patch of this for the organelle m? or any generative organelle m patches like norns fall? I tried to build a norns and.... well it never worked, so i sent it to a really busy buddy, who..... probably has it in his closet lol but I DO have an organelle m :)
As I am aware, nothing quite similar to Fall or organelle, although there are some generative patches available and you can get something similar by sequencing something random in Orac and using patches that are forked from Mutable Instruments:)
