    Andy Kirk, based in Yorkshire (UK), is a renowned consultant, trainer, and sought-after speaker in the field of data visualization. With over a decade of experience as an adjunct lecturer and a prolific author, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to our virtual stage.
    His work spans consulting for high-profile clients such as Apple, Google, and Pfizer, to conducting over 370 training courses across 27 countries. His teaching experience includes post-graduate positions at esteemed institutions like MICA, Imperial College, and University College London (UCL).
    He is also the author of three influential books, including the widely acclaimed "Visualising Data: A Handbook for Data Driven Design", with a third edition set to be published in late 2024.

    We are a student-led organization focused on using designer networks and innovative learning methods to help cultivate a new generation of skilled individuals with both technical and social skills. Gyaan Adda, founded in October 2010 by a cohort of students at NID Bangalore, has evolved into a distinguished weekly event on campus. This forum offers a platform for showcasing the portfolios of students, faculty, and alumni, while also hosting design challenges, facilitating thought-provoking group discussions, and featuring insights from leading designers, researchers, and industry professionals. The event's format varies between formal presentations and informal gatherings, both live and on-campus.
