Dave and Ashley Willis spent thirteen years in full-time church ministry before devoting their work entirely toward the global mission of building stronger, Christ-centered marriages. Their marriage-related books, blogs, podcast, speaking events and media resources have reached millions of couples around the world making Dave and Ashley one of the most recognized and trusted couples in marriage ministry.
Dave and Ashley partnered with MarriageToday in 2018. MarriageToday (and its live events and media brand of "XO") is the nation's largest marriage-focused ministry. As part of the MarriageToday/XO Team, Dave and Ashley speak at all XO events, host The Naked Marriage Podcast, create new marriage resources, and co-host the MarriageToday television broadcast on the Daystar Network which features their teachings plus the teachings of MarriageToday's founder, Pastor Jimmy Evans.
The Willis family includes four sons ranging in age from preschool to high school and a rescue dog named "Chi Chi." When Dave and Ashley aren't writing and speaking, they love hanging out with their family, watching movies and going on long walks which is also where they develop many of their marriage ministry content ideas.

Dave and Ashley, thank you so much for being so open and a great example of a Jesus-centered marriage. Currently my husband and I are separated and have been for over 4 years. I am standing for my wonderful husband's full surrender to Christ, marriage restoration, and family healing. I continue to learn of how to be a great "help meet" for him from you both.
I would love to know how God has transformed you through separation. Has your spouse seen other people? My husband left a few months ago, and I am praying for his salvation. Divorce is not an option at this point. I just fasted for 40 days and am in another fast.
@@lanayaallen2674 It took me a while, but I came to the realization that regardless of what my spouse was doing that I remained true to the vows we made. I also realized that I needed to return to God as my first love. There are new challenges everyday. One incredible thing God has done for me is walk me through personal healing from childhood and adult trauma. This has allowed me to forgive and see my husband how God sees him.

So glad I ttuned in to this podcast episode. Got a new view of this power couple, and especially seeing Joel kinda humble from his usual outspoken demranor, allowing his wife to be her own voice, him not being hard (my view if him) but a total softie because he has a well spoken, OUTspoken mate. Love, love, love you two and sold out for King and Country...shout out to Luke who I love.
