That cat is an excellent student.
You're heaven sent Ming. My son is going 4 years old next month and he's non verbal. You gave me hope to turn this situation around.
Same 💕
Keep at it and don't lose hope. My son with autism was COMPLETELY non-verbal once. Took me 4 months to get him to say "ma", after an even longer effort getting him to make sounds. But we kept at it, everyday, every moment. Finally he said "aaaa" imitating us. Then we kept going and going. Adding on and on. Everyday. Today during therapy he said to me "Mama I want the big blue block please". If you told me at the beginning he'd even say Mama I wouldn't believe you at all. But I realized the singular thing that helps our kids is if we roll our sleeves and GET TO WORK. My philosophy is that nature is not going to help me or my child at all. I'm going to have to manually program every word, every emotion until it all clicks and he can use it himself. It takes forever, it's brutal and requires the patience of an angel but IT IS POSSIBLE. Don't rely on the possibility of your child one day speaking "naturally" or voluntarily. It might happen or not. You can't roll that dice. You can, however, take fate into yiur own hands and attempt to assure that eventuality through sheer hard work. This has been my sole guidance and has empowered me to help my son and he is making leaps in his therapy. And don't feel sorry for yourself or become discouraged if he isn't catching on fast enough. I've seen more than enough so called "miracle" stories of kids speaking after years and years of completely being non-verbal and then going on to success. The secret? Their parents, caregivers, therapists etc etc worked hard and NEVER GAVE UP. Celebrate every small achievement, don't be an audience to the delays. Use every delay or issue as an opportunity to work with your child and not as a failure. Our kids CAN reach their highest potential, we just have to bring it out differently than other parents.
@@elulugnie4250please share what are the things/steps that you did my son is almost 4 years old

My sons favorite toy ☺️
Hi there! Love your videos! Did you have a video or toy ideas for children under 2 ? Thank you!
thank you for sharing how to play to used Mr. potato head to help my child with a language disorder. looking forward to your next videos.
Thanks! Bryan just loves taking off the hands and eyes and put them inside Mr potato's bumbum and then shake him. He loves the sound.
But he can't open the bumbum, so he brings it to me and directs my hand to open it, and I say "say - Please" but he wouldn't say instead he would feel sad, or start crying.
better teach Bryan to use a gesture to get what he wants.
Ming, thank you. These toy examples are a good illustration of logics behind input and encouragement and involvement of others

How often do you suggest doing these type of activities for a 3 year old ? We just had his first session this week and have been given the task of working on him communicating his wants with gesture/ words
everyday for 10-15 minutes
Hi Ming. This games seemed fun. Do u have the exact name for the toy? I tried to find in shoppee but can't really find it, instead I found other Mr potato toys that doesn't offer body parts to be taken off and on .
Thanks in advance.

can this toy activity and also the car slides be used for a 20 month old? thanks.
you can try, it really depends if the child responds to it... Below 2, you should try out toys that have a lot of sound and lights
Usually should take how long to play this toy then to move to the next toy?
You can play it for 10-15 mins each day and work on a few toys in a day
