it a great car even though it's now 4 years old it's still good-looking car and the revisions is getting better than was in 2018 pre-launch (please note atlas os is now available on the x70 starting from september 2022 and the older models with gkui unfortunately it's not eligible to upgrade)
you gotta understand. proton are really struggling right now. so they had to spend what extra left to update their products to compete with other rivals
no doubt X70 still the best in class in terms of value proposition to be comparison Iriz is a cheapest new B segment hatchback but the total sales figures still behind not just our king myvi even City hatchback & Yaris sell more then iriz that shows Malaysian choose X70 not only because of advantages being the cheaper but more than that. No Apple carplay & android auto in 2022 kinda disappointed tbh 😂
Malaysian pick X70 solely for being much cheaper, still competitive in specs, and also because of the local brand (service center, parts availability). Else at cheaper price range, would get away with Korean brand or settle with Japanese brand at higher price. Choosing City Hatchback, Yaris and Myvi over Iriz is for different reason, many would settle with Persona instead, or just go with Myvi for bigger space, better reputation maybe. Else, top up to get Yaris or City Hatchback, or the expensive and less known Mazda 2.
Love the whole car and ride. My wife just got the MC2 unit in Jul 2022. Best buy ever. But if there’s one thing I hate about (and I hate it so much) is the fuel consumption. It’s even worse than my W176 A250
Hahaha.. chinese already moved away from 3 cylinder engine, as i read at wapcar.. so geely need to dump their 3 cylinder engine here.. haha.. unfortunately, our market too small to have our voice to be heard by geely..
Funny that nobody made this remark when Volvo started to use that very same powertrain. Badge prejudices aside, I think it's a strategic move by Proton to simplify manufacturing, logistics & supply chain by streamlining the powertrain across the X50 and X70. I think they will continue that streamlining exercise to eventually include some of their PIES models too.
How much to change engine mounts on x70 ? I saw this is big problem with x70;now days due to big vibration of 3 pot ..so better budget how much ?
