So happy this guide is still coming in handy! Yeah I agree the GTA V piloting is so easy to get used to and master, this one takes a lot of tinkering and practise!
For me the key thing that helped is understanding that if your plane is tilted left for example, then if you move your analog stick towards the right then you turn. So basically whichever way your plane is facing pointing the stick "upwards" relatively to your plane position then you can move/turn
thanks for the control scheme advice. I hopped in the spitfire and flew around in fp with headphones on. The sound of the engine is the best sound. God bless the people who put who knows how much time into the incredible sound, visuals and mechanics in this game! To think that people do such a good job and get trodden underfoot. I hope there is a business advisor who can tell executives really how much highly talented people are really worth to a company! And also talent needs to "cook", if they are pestered and badgered, say goodbye to the talent. Thats not to say urgency isnt necesary, its just about making testing parameters to find the talent.
For me, a pilot with 800 hours in this game on a controller and 350 on a PC, you did a great job here to help people get started here, because not crashing is the first and most important skill, I would say.
Hey hey, been a while since I loaded up BF5, but I think on the main menu there was like 'training' or 'tutorial' or 'practice', something like this. And in this mode, you can just run to the airfield.
I wonder does everyone who starts out at flying in multuplayer get pooped on by other experienced pilots or was it just me lol? I still come across the occasional good pilot, I'm good at shooting down an enemy plane but I seem to struggle the most when we are in the middle of looping and somehow they manage to get in behind me while in the loop. I still haven't figured out how to stop them from getting the upper hand on me while in a loop 🤷♂️ what could I be missing? I know the comment is long and the video is old but at this point I'm willing to ask anyone lol
100%!! Yes. Honestly until I got some upgrades for the aircraft, I got absolutely annihilated in most dogfights unless the enemy crashed or was just a lot worse than me haha 😂 takes a lot of practice though, I bet I'm crap now. Haven't played in ages!
@Sharpypus I have all my planes maxed out, it's just I'm still trying to figure out how I can use Rudder inside a loop to gain ground and get behind an enemy plane 👍 It can be frustrating but I'm getting there lol
Sorry, I totally missed this one, it's been a while since I played but try checking out 'Silk' on UA-cam, he does some amazing BF5 flying tutorials, much more advanced than this one. It may help you out. Glad to hear you've maxed all your planes though, that took me a while!
iam so dumb, trying too fing how to find games with airplanes hehe, can find eny thing on youtube ore google, hehehehe, pleas help me select the rihght play mode
Best guide ever. I swear they made flying way harder that is supposed to be. Gta V did the best job at piloting and I’m so used to that.
