Good little video, Bayliss do sell the cylinders. To test or reset, worth sticking in the fridge first, cools the wax. Mine at 20 years I think now need replacing
Good advice Andy 👍🏼, thanks for taking the time to comment.
Brilliant vid, the instructions weren't very clear on the pack. Thank you ❤
Incredibly helpful…..thanks!
Do you really keep autovents engaged during high winds? What happens when high winds arrive and a window is open? Won’t it potentially lead to a damaged window, or panes of glass being blown out?
Some people in windy locations disengage them and tie them shut during storm season. It’s a good idea to do this.
I bought a Costco green house back in July this year and the auto vent stopped working yesterday, hadn't disengaged just didn't open, surely it can't have worn out in 3 months. It were 38c in it yesterday, so propped it open with a lump of wood and kept the door open. Was wondering if the wax does not like west Australia and would the Bayliss fair any better. Great vid. Cheers
It’s unlikely to have worn out. 38 degrees c is pretty hot so I’d suggest it’s Faulty. A Bayliss autovent will likely fair better than a Costco one for sure.
@@TheEnduringGardener Many thanks, I expect Costco to replace, but down the track I'll get a Bayliss
Mine did not close today during a thunderstorm cause it was warm. I had no idea what to do
480p in 2022? Nice video besides that :D
