*This song is based on Doteli and Kumauni folk.
These songs have been passing through generations in an oral tradition.
‘Kamla’ is a Kumauni folk tune perform first in 1978 but is a century and half old tune which later got recorded by Lalit Mohan Joshi.
Similarly, ‘Kafal’ is centuries old Thadi Bhaka tune from Mahakali zone which was later performed by Nanda Krishna Joshi.
This is our small initiative to pass on this tradition to the next generation.
