How can I efficiently bake all the lights in the environment and use them from the lightmap, while dynamically using only the character's shadow? Also, how can I effectively utilize a custom skybox texture? When I tried it in a racing game, the skybox reflection appeared black in the Android preview... It would be fantastic if you could publish a tutorial for a car racing demo that uses static shadows throughout the environment but dynamically shows only the car's shadow, with beautiful reflections.

You say a roast for people who says its bad Well as a level designer and lighting artist for over 11 years The ammount of FPS you get on this small scene even after the (basic beginner optimizing) is bad There are no other words for it So befor you wont to talk down on people make sure you have your fackts right

We had a video before this where we told it’s easy to optimise scenes like this to a level easily BUT we got a lot of to and fro on our discord server for this map which I showed. It wasn’t targeted to people like you xD. It was just a fun thing between few people. Sorry if it looked like something else

@@FlockersDesign I am a Game Programmer and this is/was my only video on Environment. As I said this was a follow up video, where I showed the map of our game which took a month to optimise and run on Mobile(with good graphics). Now I can’t show everything in a 1 hr video nor I am Level designer or a person having very great career in optimizating scenes, so it was just a small trial to show the map running on Android in good frame rate. I can bet you can make it much much better but that doesn’t mean this information is wrong. I only make videos once a month or so and that too when I get requests from people so make the place you are siting in your career makes this look like wrong but from a beginners point of view(which the video targets), it isn’t as we have seen a lot of people asking/sharing thoughts about this one specifically.
