I can see you using Bruce and Jill to show off the new pack when it comes to keeping the flame alive after being married for so many years. I’d love to see a similar “challenge” but surrounding love and romance. Can sims have successful romance with only base game, Lovestruck and MWS and Dine Out.
If Luxury Party Stuff is installed, then you get additional food at prom in addition to the chicken, including vegetable tempura, sausage and peppers, ceviche, and almond macaroons. The same thing happens if My Wedding Stories is installed, but those items are replaced by dal makhani, gulab jamun, mutton biryani, roast duck, sweet buns, and fruit tarts. In May 2023 I claimed Luxury Party Stuff for free alongside two other packs as part of a special promotion from Epic Games that ran during the first half of that month. This pack enabled my sim to indulge in vegetable tempura at prom before blowing out the candles on her birthday cake to age up into a young adult during the prom, which made her earn prom royalty.
You know what is so funny? When I was living in the Bronx as a kid, there was a couple of times that the lights went out. So at night, they used candles to light the rooms. I asked my dad why the lights were off, he said sometimes it was good to use a candle. Coming from the Caribbean, my parents were accustomed to candles and lamps to use at night. I just thought it was cool. So I never understood, until I was older, my parents opted not to pay the light bill to pay for other things.
The limited-pack gameplay will definitely not be forgotten ❤️ my favourite parts were definitely Karmine being so welcomed into the family and Bruce having a family meeting 😂 the reactions were so funny.
41:24 Dragon fruit is one of the most expensive fruits in the game. If they plant and sell it (especially with markup), the family may not have to worry about money. 😁

This whole LP was so wholesome. You let the stories tell themselves and it unfolded beautifully. It was also relatable bc alot of folks ... Myself included don't have all the packs and this is great inspiration to still have fun in the game with a little creativity & imagination. Maybe you can turn rhem into a current household kind of situation and we see a peek at them every once in a while. ❤
I wasn’t expecting to like this gameplay/concept as much as I did! Sometimes it’s nice having less because it makes you focus more on what the individual packs offer. This was such a wholesome family let’s play which is probably my favorite type to watch ❤️
Just started the episode but I wanted to say I adore the Dooleys so much. Watching this limited pack gameplay has been so much fun as a console player as it's reminded me that I'm not the only one who loves playing vanilla, even if it can feel that way sometimes

Oh dear Oshin I need to tell you about my first “real” legacy (bcs I managed to let my sims die I’m proud lol) I started playing with Gen 1 with Horse Ranch and I fell so in love with that family, so I just kept playing and then with Gen 2 I played with Home Chef Hustle and Growing Together (properly) and it was a whole dramatic love story thing lol but a happing ending ofc.. and then it kind of evolved into my own legacy “challenge “ where I now play with each Gen when a new pack comes out. It’s been super nice, I play on custom long lifespan and really make sure to play through the games’ features and it’s been amazing. Oh and I call my save file “Always Keep Simming” 😂❤ Thought I’d share that because you said you would like to keep playing with this lovely family! I love your LPs thank you for inspiring countless storylines, for the cozy vibes/the diversity/the drama at times/ the good and the bad, everything on this channel, you are my fav sims creator ❤

There is so much unfinished romance with this LP Kyle and Zoe, then Joy in High School with her romance or lack of. Then Bruce and his birthday. I hope you do revisit this family with the new EP or maybe bring them to one of your other LPs or vice versa. I think that is the beauty and fun behind having well loved Sims, they can be placed in any game story for additional play or storylines and fun. Maybe even family members cousins, aunts, uncles, or marrying into a LP family. Loved the LP Oshin you are such a great story teller and make the sims so fun. I have finished clearing out my MODs folder and it feels good. I remade a sims family that I played in Sims 3 and will give the limited game pack a try. I agree with so many packs there are things I have not used in the game at all or have forgotten about and want to experience too. Hey, another great video you made! I had recently commented on one of your videos and you had really helped a lot that time. I have another big problem which is making sims I like, like my OWN style of sims that I enjoy, and even find my own story line to do. Recently I will make a sim and say, "I love it!" and proceed to delete it 1 hour later. Is there any way you are able to help enjoy the sims and get my own style?
I have definitely been here before! something I like to do after making a sim is go into game with them and see how I feel about them. try not to overthink it, if you have a story in mind just play it out and remember why you fell in love with them to begin with. don’t delete your sims! keep them for a rainy day. style takes time to build, I realized my sims favor me a little (my head shape lol). If you can download cc, that always helps gather new ideas and inspiration. just play around! you’ll get there 💛
