No Way Out - Scrooge McDuck

HI I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!!! I have literally had this idea since I saw Last Crash for the first time.
So, essentially, the lyrics to the first half of this song/the part that was in the absolute iconic movie Brother Bear felt a lot to me like Scrooge’s journey through season one and part of season two. From meeting the triplets to Della’s return, essentially. Especially with Dewey and Webby, and how their quest kind of culminated in Dewey briefly losing Scrooge and Webby being told she’s not family. In making this I tried to kind of highlight that emotional rollercoaster.
And then, when I started on my Team Uncle Week fics, I realized that this idea also applies to Donald? He loves Scrooge as much as the kids do, he lost his uncle AND sister for a decade. They don’t touch on that aspect much but especially in the clip from Mervana-where, by the way, he just fixes Donald’s suit without looking, we love to see it-and in their sideplot in Game Night you can see they really love each other and care about each other.
So anyway. This is my Team Uncle Week 2020 post for the day six prompt “Magica” because of how much of this is Shadow War clips, but in some way or another I feel like it fits “game night,” “parenting,” and “physical affection” too. All in all I’m really very proud of this and I hope you guys like it.
(Side note, please take note of Louie quietly rocking at 0:58, I might have cried a little bit having to edit that part.)
