I have dry skin and I use a powder puff to set my foundation. I was taught that 22 years ago at a Bobbi Brown cosmetic counter. I never have to do a touch up all day when I set it that way. Love the way everything turned out.
Wow, what a gorgeous combination of colours! And a really inspiring way to use just two colours! It occurred to me that one could use just two colours from a bigger palette for a simpler look. For those of us (*me*) who use too many colours and end up turning them into mud, this is a great tutorial on how to cut back a bit and still create a beautiful look! So pretty and soft. I’ve seen another makeup artist use a transition shade under the lower lash line. It gives a complete look without being dark. What are your thoughts on that?

Very pretty look! Do you use Tretinoin? If so can you talk about your routine? I just started and I am in the peeling purge face. I hate it and don’t know how to make it better. Thank you for everything you do!🥰
Oh I'm so sorry!! It is no fun to have your face peeling off and purging!😳 A couple of years ago, I tried Curology and my treatment had Tretinoin. I remembered they had some advice of how to ease into using it and minimize irritation, etc. 1) Use it just 3x/week for 1-2 weeks then gradually increase to every other night, then every night if your skin can handle it. 2) Apply it to completely dry skin. After gently cleansing, wait 10-20 min to be sure your face is totally dry and then apply. Moist skin absorbs more product so this helps prevent your skin from absorbing too much. 3) Apply a heavy moisturizer once the Tretinoin absorbs. Vaseline is actually one that they recommend and I remember my Esthetician from long ago recommending too when she did glycolic peels on me! During the day, I'd recommend my favorite toner (Alaffia Everyday Coconut Face Toner) and moisturizer (Physiogel Hypoallergenic Daily Moisture Therapy Facial Lotion). Hope that helps!! Hang in there💕

I made the mistake of using a face razor (to remove my peach fuzz) on my already extremely dry skin from the Tretinoin and it cut my face in about 4 different places. Now I have red patches where it cut my face. I put face oil on and it seemed to help. Do you know of a good non- comedogenic face oil? My skin is extremely dry! Thank you so much for taking time to always answer my questions, I truly appreciate that so much!!!
Oh you poor thing!!! You definitely need to give your skin a break from everything and just let it heal. Jojoba and grape seed oils are both fast absorbing oils that wont clog pores.😊

This might not be related. I use concealer I'm a few places I seem to have dark spots in the bottom corner of each eye. I use concealer there but it's still there.?????
Have you ever tried using a color corrector first? If not, I'd highly recommend adding that step before concealer as that will neutralize those dark spots so when you put the concealer over them, they will be concealed. My current favorite is the NARS Radiant Creamy Color Corrector😘

I use lots of cream products and usually use brushes to apply. It seems to me that they last quite a bit longer that way.
I agree....maybe the oils from our fingers break down the product faster🤔😘
