Great season, decent mole (they certainly seem to have pulled the wool over the viewers based on the voting shown!), but still annoyingly hiding half the sabotage explanations on the website and now the hidden clues on Moltalk! I just wish they would do it like the Belgian series where they literally manage to explain literally everything in the episode
Yeah it makes it hard to fully appreciate the mole and feels a little less of a “celebration of the season” when it feels like there are pieces missing from the whole experience. Seems to be the trend though so I’ll just appreciate that these seasons are even accessible to me in the first place =P
Also will second the appreciation in the incredible speed! I was ready for a day or two delay like usual finales so this made my evening =)

Hints to Everon:
- Season 22 with 11 candidates 22 + 11 = 33 On his shirt is bird 33 also Albania's flag has 2 bird heads like the Mole have 2 faces
- In episode 1 and first task. Rik tells everyone which group they belong to, exept Everon he already knew which group he belong.
- Also the word "Troeven" you can make the name "Everon" but you keep the "T"
- Episode title "Kettingreactie" (Chain reaction) is a clue to the Mole: Everon didn't get loose, so Hila couldn't get money
- Episode title: "Mollenvangers" (Mole traps) its like with "Troeven" (You can spell Everon in)

Annoyed with myself because I picked Everon as mole in the very first assignment when I noticed he was the only one who Rik didn’t say which team the mole has put him in (which ended up being one of the secret clues 🤦🏼♀️) and then I changed my mind next episode when he started earning money! Not 100% happy with the -5000 as I think it gave him an excuse to earn more/sabotage less but there’s no arguing that the sabotages he did do were great and I love that you can see how much enjoyment he got out of playing the mole! Loved all three finalists and all the other contestants too, definitely up there for one of the best seasons ever! Tot volgende jaar!
i think the only assignment where it was really his idea to earn some money was with the balloons, cause it was early in the game. because he didn’t earn that much money single by him self other than that. and even without the 5000, i still think he did great. the 5000 is just a huge bonus for him i guess
@@samnabuurs3121 Rik just announced on his Instagram page that the broadcaster AvroTros will donate the 5000 euros that were taken out of the pot, due to the fact that Everon got one of the exemptions after the livestream, to Giro555, a good cause that collects money for Ukraine this whole day...

I think most seasons that are available are already up. Older seasons don't all have Dutch subtitles to translate and I won't do them from scratch, that's just too much work. But I will see which ones I am missing.

Many thanks once again for uploading. I thoroughly enjoyed this season. Best one since Rik took over as host I think. What were other people's thoughts on this season as a whole? I really enjoyed the players this year. I did guess de mol early this season but then changed my mind last few episodes. 😄 Great season. Thanks again! Hopefully we will have access to subtitles of the Belgium Mol this year as well which starts on my birthday 🙏 🤫

I really wanted the Mole to be Fresia, but sometime during the reveal I had a feeling it would be Everon. People had brought up signs pointing to him in previous episodes. I think Kim-Lian was still a good possibility, but at this point I didn't consider her much

And congrats to Fresia! It was very close. They both tied for the same score and she won by being a minute faster. I think everyone did well this season. It was really fun to watch

In the chain reaction game, the bag landed near Everon, but he threw it away and pretended that it landed far away. He also found the key, but didn't use it and just buried it again in the sand.
In swan lake, he messed with the radio and also said that some of the swans that were for him were not.
He also literally ate some of the money after he found it in the house in Episode #9, and therefore only returned with a portion of the money (they may have shown this in the regular episode, too)

This may be a stupid question but did the candidates find out who the mol was at the same time we did? I assumed they found out at the un-masking in Albania?
I assumed that, too, but they didn't confirm one way or the other as far as I could tell.
I think I saw an interview with Hila somewhere that said that they didn't know, which seems like a bit of a waste to me. Would have been fun to see their reactions in Albania
They did know in Albania already. They had to stay there in a hotel after they had their exit and got to see who was the mole. Normally that doesn't happen but this time they all knew and had to keep their mouth shut too.
@@dutchieq3059 but the episode doesn't show them seeing the mole revealing himself, it just shows them taking of their masks and they seemed surprised to see it was Everon in Amsterdam
Yeah I feel like the de-masking was so hyped and I was excited to see their reaction. Nobody really reacted (or they didn’t show it) at the live event yesterday so I feel like they must have known. But it could have been so fun!

He ATE the MONEY! XDDDDD
This was such a strong season; probably my favorite in the Rik-era. I'm not normally great at picking a mole out early but this season was a nice exception (suspicious after episode 1, in the tunnel by 2). I love the risks and tactics Everon took. I hadn't thought of the second challenge in the first episode, that the mole could easily sabotage by repressing the button without anyone noticing and how he had the idea to guard the iPads to earn trust. I'm actually surprised he bothered to re-roll 1's in the assembly line challenge, especially when he was in the first group. Compare it to the laser game challenge, where he takes a massive risk in getting caught opening cases in sight of other candidates but for a lot more than just $100. Steel balls indeed. I am phenomenally impressed with the 3 jokers challenge with Thomas. First, I love the idea of him betraying Thomas and going for the 3 jokers, and second I love how well he acted when it got turned around on him. Highly effective. And I figured something had to have happened with the key in the cave--it was pretty ballsy to chuck it, cause it definitely made a noise that if anyone was around could have heard.
The mollies and millies challenge...I'm kinda on the fence about it. Concept of this challenge is that if you have your wits about you as a contestant you can see Everon and know he's the mole. However, when Laetitia starts looking around he hits the deck immediately. Like...the whole point is for him to sail past them either undetected or he gets spotted and the contestants have an 'exemption' for the finale. Compare it to Jan's season: was he going to dive in a bush if the contestants turned to look at him? No! This should be a ballsy all-or-nothing challenge and not half-hearted. I love meet the mole assignments, but this was one that I was not a huge fan of. That being said, sailing by Fresia and calling her a little terror made me lol.
Love the initiative he took in spending time with the locals the night before the carpet diem assignment. And love Thomas' line: 'I'm going to follow [the mole], then he can't do anything." Truly inspirational words that any contestant should get tattooed on their body before entering this game. Then proceeds to let Everon do whatever he wants in the next challenge *facepalm*
I loved the way the money hint played out! There wasn't really any negative money earned, but the fact that it played into the very last challenge was pretty great. And that hug with Kim when she returns the money. Poetry in motion.
And he ATE the MONEY! That part tickled me way too much.
Few complaints this episode (aside from the mollies/millies challenge): like NO hidden hints...at all? Even though the ones they had were pretty weak. I also wished the unmasking ball had featured more in the reveal. Like they hyped it up all season and...it's just revealed in studio. I wanted him on top of those stairs removing his mask, then him stepping forward with the classic "Ik ben de mol" line read (think Jan's reveal). But that's more of a subjective complaint and I still had chills running down my spine when watching, so it was still pretty effective. I also caught that the pot had decreased by $100 with the treasurer shift but I don't like that they didn't show him getting rid of it on camera. And I also noticed that they were $100 short in the first challenge in the first episode, but it's also not shown how it came into his possession. Kinda reminds me of De Mol Belgie, the Vietnam season, when the mole had a huge sabotage but had to reverse it when it wasn't caught on camera. Rules on that show are that if it's not filmed it can't be used as a sabotage, which I think is both extremely fair and far more entertaining when you can watch it back rather than being told that it happened. I also really wanted to know the results of the livestream voting, just to see how close the Dutch public was in picking him out, but maybe I was the only one interested in that. Maybe he fell dead center and they didn't deem it interesting enough to show. I was also expecting him to be on camera saying sheep a bunch of times in the sheep herding challenge, but I guess that didn't happen either (not really a complaint I guess, just my false assumption). But I know he was responsible for dropping the bird watcher picture in the very last challenge of the season, but it's not shown either. Bummer. Found it hilarious they didn't even touch on the fourth episode... at all. I guess he took it off?
Most of my complaints this episode are the same I had with the reunion episode of De Mol Belgie last year, and that is that I always want MORE (call me greedy XD). So much time seems dedicated to filler when there's so much fun stuff to cover. Still, a supremely solid season from WIDM. I enjoyed watching it, was happy with the mole activity, loved the cast, some pretty great challenges (some stinkers, but it must be hard after 22 seasons), and pleased to finally have a 'sporty' mole. Loved Everon's enthusiasm, creativity, acting, nerve, and overall performance. Definitely a top-tier season in my book.
I do think him on the boat was easier to spot than jan walking. Because if he wouldn’t have had dived away both fresia and laetitia would have saw him easily

Since the first episode i knew, i guess who was the mole. Damn the way he/she was acting always act nice... and the fact that after three episode that person wasn't eliminated. I suspect the mole

Thanks Marieke for an amazing season! Apparently this season is probably my most favourite to date! Considering how good everyone are physically and how the mole did its job! Amazingly!
To be honest, I GOT THE MOLE RIGHT AGAIN!!!!! Right at the last minute while I was rewatching last week’s episode at midnight on Saturday! This whole time, I thought the mole was a woman! Considering how strong that the ladies are! But I didn’t think it was a man nor I didn’t believe the hype of someone taking away €5000 out of the pot. Or in this case if you’re in the UK, £4,136.13 out of the pot! So in total in pounds, the winner would get £6,671.58!!!! Wow!
Also I can say this game was very hard this season because I had no clue on who is the mole based on who was playing tricks or not, could it be Everon, could it be Fresia, could it be Kim Lian, let me tell you, it was a difficult season for us trying so hard who the mole is!
Everon Jackson Hooi is probably my most favourite mole yet because how he played the game is astonishing and gets you to the edge of your seat. And the unmasking, my most favourite reveal of the show! Because it has the soundtrack of one of my favourite shows that I loved watching and that is Loki, I need to rewatch it. What intrigued me is that before he said “Ik Ben De Mol”, the soundtrack where we saw the finalist’s eyes inside those masks, the title of the soundtrack says, “He who remains” So it’s clear that Everon is the mole!
Once again thank you so much Marieke for an incredible season and who knows maybe I could play again! Sherlock Holmes outta here!
I literally rewatched it today. I CANNOT wait for the upcoming Marvel shows/movies with Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conquerer, he is literally my favorite villain EVER. It was awesome hearing Loki themes twice this season.

This is the first time I've ever guessed the mole from the first episode of a season! I found the Celtics jersey he wore on the first day to be a clue, I'm not sure why... just because people are never allowed to wear things like that on these kinds of shows. And it was a Larry Byrd jersey, which made me look for bird clues. Plus, I feel like he was very different from the last few moles. I knew it was him the whole time. which doesn't mean he did a bad job though lol

Half-vindicated, half-disappointed that Everon is the mole. I've suspected him since episode two, started heavily focusing on him in episode five, and I just really like being wrong I guess. But then again, every WIDM finale is like that- half vindicated/awed, half disappointed. I do feel really proud of some of the connections I drew to past seasons, with Everon's tactics.
