Just how you describe your time in prison makes me realise freedom is so precious..we all make mistakes but it takes a real man to learn from them and to not go back to a life of crime as in crime there is only one destination and thats prison..thankyou so much for such a powerful message in this video🙏

Good post. Prison wasn't too bad for me as such as I just kept my head down and made friends but like you say about freedom being precious- you don't realise how good you've got it til it's gone. Being locked up makes you realise how you really shouldn't take those little things in life for granted. Not being rude but we all assume that we are entitled to take a dump in private but inside you have to do it in your cell in front of your cellmate (and also have to smell it when he does the same). Sounds silly but it's things like that which really get to you

When I was a nipper I was in a secure unit for bad youngsters probably the nicest way to put it . Bare in mind you couldn't put us in a normal yo unit. But I remember guys in there that if they are out and about I would be surprised. Like yourself there were youngsters that got straight relatively speaking and are out . Touch wood I won't be going back into any units. My time was during the 80s. Fair play to you mate 👏

Now then mate good blogg talk sense n say how is i was in holme house with you was about 15-6 year ago or maybe longer we neva spoke but i neva forget a face, good to see you doing well and turned ya life around, i ma self hav been working last 12 year since released from aklington last 10 days was in block them tryn get my 4n that was up my arse ha the metal detector kept beeping on my back side ther new but als cud do was put me in block n say yr staying dwn ere until it stops beeping on you or you hand it over, i managed to pass it to another prisoner who was IPP wer thers a will thers a way as u no ha, enyway take care n keep up the good work 👍👍👍

When did the penny finally drop when you where in Frankland Ricky? When did you start to rehabilitate yourself and get in the path to freedom.

Hi mate, yes when I was in Frankland but more so when I went back in on recall leaving my wife and 4 kids at home, that's when I really knew I had to change and be a better person.
@@BehindTheBarsTv-RickyKilleen Massive respect for turning your life around mate. I also turned my back on a life of crime for my own two kids. I got released 2016 and have held down a normal job and kept myself away from the life I lived before ever since.
And I agree with what you have said in some of your videos. Most of the lifers I came across in prison where really nice guys (most people reading this wont understand) and where the ones who where easiest to get on with.
