Asking yourself if you're actually going to touch it and use it is a good way to declutter. I decluttered half my collection and it feels great. I wear makeup 5-6 days a week. No joke, but no point in keeping what you won't use. I still add new things and get rid of old. Good job for starting the process, it's hard to do.

It's just not healthy to hold onto everything and it can be hard because people get attached to items for different reasons (it was expensive, pretty, you liked it once, someone gave it to you etc) but if you haven't used it in the past year, no point in holding on to it because chances are, you probably won't use it again. I was praising Paige in case she or anyone else is wondering because it can be hard when we love things and she did good. The UA-cam beauty community is kind of set up to make you feel like you have to have everything, but you don't. I was collecting a lot of stuff because my favorite UA-camrs loved it etc. and it was just adding up. I decluttered old stuff, gently used stuff and unopened stuff I gave to my friends and anything that they didn't want that wasn't opened, I gave away to our women's shelter. Not saying everyone has to do it, it's just what I did. It feels better to clear up space.

Which didn’t do much cuz all my makes up is high end so it was a start then I did my least fav category which is lipsticks so I started at the catergory I’m not obsessed with
You should try Pat McGrath lip products, shades 1995 and Omi are pinky nude Matte lipsticks, their both great. Her Lip balm in blow up is really pretty as well. You’d like the colors.
