@Aaron O'Neill You explain this perfectly. As someone who's been into music composition, I have found so many times that a films music score made the difference between it being a mediocre film to a great one. To this day, if I know Hans Zimmer will compose a title's soundtrack, I am immediately interested in checking out the film. The Bruce score is a huge part of why I love DBZ and have found it hard to stomach DBS. Scenes had weight to them in DBZ and the music played a huge role in that.
This theme with Vegeta being vulnerable for the first time ever still gives me goosebumps. I mean all the way stripped down bare and pleading to Kakarot the Saiyan pride. 😭

To me, it was to represent his vulnerability. Another example would be when Goku is talking about getting lost in space to trunks. You see a quick shot of Goku falling in space naked but of course private parts are covered.
