    This honestly should have been the miniboss theme. Crimson Fighter is just too damn good for the moments it plays. Still does the job and pumps you up, though.

    This one plays while fighting Giasburn is more fitting than any other boss that using the same theme.

      I agree, while this theme is not bad and it does grow on you eventually(at least for me)I do prefer Crimson Fighter as the more definitive boss theme in my opinion.

      @@yurilowell4878 Agreed, that one feels more... heroic? Something about up just pumps you up more than this.
      This one is good to but it lacks that charm. It works for a more generic fight, Crimson is better for the bigger or more meaningful boss fight.

      Highly, HIIghly, HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHLY disagree. Don't get me wrong, both songs are great. Just because I disagree doesn't mean I don't think Crimson Fighter isn't amazing. However, Crimson Fighter doesn't sound like a boss theme, it sounds like a protagonist theme. Likely the intention, given the name. As Flariz said, it sounds heroic. Triumphant. It sounds like the character has arrived to save the day. And it sounds great and all, but it doesn't sound like a BOSS theme, it sounds like the theme song of BEATING a boss. Deadly Temptation actually sounds tense, like there's an actual threat. You're being rushed down and forced to fight for your survival. That guitar riff for the first 20 seconds sounds like pure panic as the boss arrives, then between 20 seconds up until 32, the boss has begun attacking and you're trying to avoid getting ripped apart while learning the attacks, 32-46 (especially that ominous droning guitar in the background) sounds like just barely being able to fight for your life, scrambling to find times to attack while clutching the last bits of health you have dearly, all the way up until 1:12 repeats much of this, but the tone starts rising, the music begins to lighten and lead into 1:12 where you've begun to adapt, learn how to fight back, and truly go on the offensive. Even after the story has been told, the loop is so frantic and packed with energy that it still works as almost becoming YOUR boss theme now that you're in control of the fight.
      I can't really find a story in Crimson Fighter the same way I very, VERY easily can with the tonal shifting in Temptation. If anything, Fighter sounds like it would be the natural follow-up to Temptation's story. Right as Temptation has reached the "adapt and fight back" phase, it ends and transitions into Fighter's "I'm the protagonist, bitch" energy. And that's kind of how it is used in the game considering Temptation is played in EARLIER boss battles than Fighter. Earlier in the game, you're not as skilled or as strong, so bosses seem a lot more like a hurdle, while later in the game when you've come into your own, boss battles are just the norm and you know you're going to trounce this new enemy. But if Fighter is a conclusion of a story, Temptation is the 75% of the story that lead up to the conclusion.
      Again, Flariz mentions that Fighter sounds like it is for bigger and more meaningful boss fights, but when do those tend to happen? Near the end of an adventure. When the hero is assured, confident, and trial-tested. A fulfilling ending doesn't work in a vacuum. To have that "hero's triumphant return" moment, it has to be built up first. Temptation is the trial and Fighter is the payoff.

      @@gagejoseph91 I get what you're saying, but to me DT just doesn't sound good at all except for like the main chorus

      @@ratmgant I respect that you don't like it. It's not for everyone. But you have to remember where this boss theme plays and the fact that it is boss theme one. I'll explain respectively:
      This song plays most notably when you fight that understandably intimidating dinosaur like boss (before you know what it actually is), that's why it's so chaotic. At this point neither you or the characters kniw what's going on and the entire first arc is sheer panic and danger of the unknown. Specially sinve this boss pops up randomly, he haunts you throughout with reappearances and is seemingly way too tough for where you would be at this point. But that's the game conveying the survival aspect. Not only are you on a seemingly deserted island, but everthing wants to kill you especially this one enemy who just wants you dead for no reason.
      Secondly this boss theme 1 and CF is boss theme 2. It played later when you actually have a goal and understand what's going on. Hence why DT is more chaotic and CF more heroic (I dont know why people in general are complaining about that). Like the point above CF would not fit in the instances DT is played. It would probably actually make the moment underwhelming.
      But if this is coming from the perspective of some that hasn't played the game, then I get why they'd prefer CF.
      To say that DT isn't good at all execpt for the chorus, even though it fits ys style like CF does, is only subjective. I could just as easily say that CF is extremely generic and cliché - and don't get me wrong I love both.
