Story of Saint Mary of Edessa
Saint Mary of Edessa, also known as Saint Mary the Slave, was a Christian saint who lived in the 4th century AD. Mary was known for her healing powers and her ability to perform miracles. Mary also reportedly had a vision of the Virgin Mary, who gave her a veil that was said to have healing powers. Saint Mary of Edessa is celebrated in the Eastern Orthodox Church on October 17th. She is revered for her faith and her acts of kindness, and her story has inspired many throughout the centuries.
