Even lots of the public dont really understand the benefit of privacy coins, They only care about the fleeting value relative to that dollar. Not actually using it transactionally.

Just don't use it to store your wealth.
The "public" are majority low IQ bozos who haven't read a book in their adult lives, hold opinions/beliefs that are entirely influenced by propaganda and advertising, and have diets which are at least 65% composed of microplastics, seed oils, phthalates and high fructose corn syrup. The sooner those of us who are actually still functioning intellectually rid ourselves of the ridiculous fantasy notion that we might someday manage to "open their eyes" and show them the error of their ways so we can all join forces to build a better world or whatever, the better off we'll be. Trust me, these kinds of people aren't even worth worrying about in the slightest.

Also, worth noting that, Monero is very stable in itsnprice maintaining around 140 USD mark for a long time. Partly due to being used not for speculation but, as an actual currency.

They probably cut someone off from the exchange and offered the site admins their escrow funds if they shut the website down. We'll know if they spawn a new one after the close date. Provided that website isn't a honeytrap service.
They treat it like a security, or more like a commodity: this is the problem and the main thing preventing crypto from gaining any traction as envisioned by cypherpunks. It'll always be dependent upon the USD.

There are several Haveno instances up and live currently. The dev team released the code, but didn't set up a trusted instance, so other people worked on getting instances running.

I do like Monero a lot. The thing is if you want to have it as an investiment it's really just not worth it compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin was made so number could go up, monero was made to be a currency.
