I think what's missed generally are the clear facts of selective arrest, charging & prosecution - given it is Carnival w/e in London : a fews years back the wife innocently decided she would go with the kids, including a pram, to 'family day', my objections were shut down as paranoid bigotry, so my only choice was to tag along. LSS besides nearly losing a few small children in crush of, let's say inconsiderate urbanites prioritising plans of revelry, a few police officers intervened to help us clear of the crush but neither the cause nor the premeditated racially motivated chemical assault on our persons & damage to our property result in any words being had, let alone a caution issued or an arrest made or charged & like most criminal actions in this country it was a drop in ocean of unrecorded & unreported sewage behaviour that the floater of politically expedient judicial action exists in.

I'm concerned of the harshness of sentences over comments online which in many a case could have been dealt with a suspended sentence, particulary for first time offenders. Yet, in the UK 80% of men caught with indecent images of children avoid a custodial sentence. In my view words are not violence, unless people are making serious real life threats of violence.

@@ghostdog4330 I agree. And while I hate to say it, the difference appears to me to be that horrendous crimes perpetrated against citizens are seen as just that, crimes against 'citizens', whereas perceived threats against the state (real or not), are treated unduly harshly. We've all seen this happen commonly around the world, and until recently, such abuses were openly lamented by the government and country as whole. But if this unfairness is really starting to happen here, that is perhaps a serious concern for us all. Maybe, the most important thing.

In response to one of your guests comments - WHY did the Judiciary allocate 70 judges to fast track this ? To suggest this is not down to political pressure is nonsensical. Also why are there long custodial sentences for written and said words vs non custodial sentences for people guilty of actual violent crimes against women?
Further - The home secretary has no hope of creating a crime of extreme misogyny when the judicial system fails to act on the ultimate form of misogyny- sexual or violent assault on women.

Sorry I do not believe that the governmet has nothing to do with some of the sentencing. Starmer let go 40,000 criminals,so as to make more room...There was talk of him doing this even before the riots,a couple of weeks before. If Starmer has not got his hand in this, then why did they not do the same for other riots before hand? Apparently the people arrested are told that they would be better off to plead guilty,so they get a shorter sentence. Imagine how shocked Starmer would have been if they all had said not guilty? Imagine the longevity of waiting for court cases, and the money that it would cost. How that would have back fired on Starmer.

No context in any way shape or form. It started from the point of people being taken away. No lead up to that point or from earlier in the day when they could of actually done something. The arrested had clearly been kept in a specific area & all taken away together. People were going absolutely nuts in the comments believing every word of it simply because they were being told it. This was in Jan 2023, police refused me any tests (Didn't test urine given & refused hair test). They even prevented me from paying for own hair test. Culprit still free, not even charged yet, still trying (but failing) to get a response for charges from CPS. All because Starmer believes folk airing their views & upsetting a certain religion is far worse. Culprits are getting a free pass whilst the victims have to suffer. We received 3 years probation. We were guilty of the case of riding a stolen bicycle brought against us, however the 3 others involved were never charged, plus we were the younger of the group. Some 5 years later, I bumped into a lad from the village, he was using a different name and I asked why? Turned out the crimes in the village never stopped, and this guy was the culprit, his finger prints were all over it, breaking and entry, bicycle theft, the list was endless. The copper had fingered the wrong children. This guy did 5 years jail, so we took the wrap for his 65 crimes that he got away with. This village Copper knew he’s finger the wrong children, yet never ever came near us again. I’ve never trusted the police after what happened to me and my brother. As a note this character in the village, his sister was a serving Policewomen at time, the family suddenly moved out of the village. The shame for them was to much realising another families children had been prosecuted instead of their own son. I’ve led a clean life since my wild teenage years, I was no angel, and have been very successful like my brother. Some 49 years later I’m still considered a criminal because of this useless copper. There no right to be forgotten.

I’m not confident to say to them all ….. of course not.
This is a sign that many establishments here in the UK are at the point of collapse.
I believe that violence has no place in our society and l’m sure that the majority if not all the subscribers would concur, however, I have noted that some of your followers have asked questions concerning the attack on police in Manchester Airport, what is happening, does two tier policing exist?
I spoke with a sergeant in the police at a party yesterday and after 24 years of service, he’s looking at “getting out” due to the decisions being made!
Many thanks in taking the time to produce these videos.

I think there will be something later on. I recall the Covid nonsense after the woman in London was murdered by the police officer, and there was a protest. The police were trying to arrest women that were sitting down in protest, and they went about it aggressively. Later on there was an inquiry into that and the police were in the wrong.

I think you're completely missing the point... If the people are told that the impact of you defending yourself is this massive cost or that length of time waiting for it to happen, you've already tipped the scales in favour of the prosecution. It's simply totally unfair and effective blackmail.
That legal people even remotely think this is acceptable is beyond any logic I can see. It's such an authoritarian system. Working class folk simply don't stand a chance against this and that is almost certainly why they cave to the legal system's blackmail.

My goodness I’ve just lost all faith in both of you.
It’s a fact that if you plead not guilty you will be held in custody without bail and very unlikely that your trial will be within 6 months. This applies to all arrested & charged even the bystanders, those that spout hurty words or shout at a police dog 🐕. Or like a post on social media.
I was going to unsubscribe and block your channels but instead I’m staying to prove you wrong.

The very fact that so many people feel that defendants are being pressured to plead guilty because the courts are under political pressure to imprison protesters should be concerning to those in charge of the CJS. Once trust and faith in the system has been lost it'll be incredibly difficult to regain.
