Syntac, if you’re interested and don’t already know, the QoL+ mod is a lot of the extra features of S+ like resource pulling and structure gun, etc. And Super Cryo Storage is basically DinoStorage v2. I’m excited for this series too!
Cryopods are coming soon to the base game (the devs went back on ‘they’ll be released with their dlc’ because server stability issues and cryopods really helped out massively so they’re coming within the next couple of weeks.) saying this because it’s a safer alternative to wait for the official thing rather than risking deleting a Dino by accident if that makes sense.

YESSSS. I love this map so much! I have the most pretty spot for my base that im the most proud of here- its so gorgeous here, truly! The skies not having any clutter of flyers is also something I didnt realize I enjoyed
I've been running "Pelayori's Cryo STorage" mod on my server for 3 weeks now with zero issues. The issues were only at the very start of the mod development and its perfectly fine now. Even has the cryo gun + baby catcher if you wanted it
Pelayori's one broke my Theri and moschops harvesting levels :(
I would love to see some kind of semi PVP day between you and the other guys. Like you set a day in the future that will be a PVP day, then spend some time leading up to it fortifying and prepping, Back the server up, and then have an all out war for one day before resetting to your save after. No permanent loss, but a really fun day of stuff to do. Gives you a lot of extra goals, and stuff to work toward.

Hey - the reason you can't harvest some stuff with the moschops is because tons of hitboxes are just straight up broken right now. Harvesting babies with a dino is rough.

That's exactly where I set up shop. I'm on series s. Started a heavily modded game on this map using primal chaos 😂 I hide in that cave most of the time
With unharvestable corpses I find giving them a little punch tends to bring them into the Harvestable Plane, it's extra steps which sucks (kill, dismount, punch, then either let dino auto harvest or hop back on to do it yourself) but it's a little better for gathering resources than using your tools depending on the dino and your tool level. It really needs to be fixed though.
Anywho, love the videos, it's been great watching you and the gang on The Island and now this map!

Hey Syn, I was watching another video the other day and I learned something that house probably know, but it seemed like maybe you didn't. When your food icon lights up more white than the others it means your ready to "defecate", which yea ok, but apparently when it's like that if you don't push the defecate button you burn through your food and water faster and don't regent your Stam as fast. Might help if you didn't know, and if you did may help someone else who reads this comment. Love ya, keep up the great work. 😎🍺👍

hey syntac i needa tell you that
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
8 ounces high-quality dark chocolate, chopped
1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup high-quality cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Salted Caramel Layer:
1 cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon sea salt
Pecan Praline Layer:
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Brownie Layer:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave.
In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Salted Caramel Layer:
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar, stirring constantly until it becomes a deep amber color.
Add butter and stir until melted. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Remove from heat and stir in the sea salt.
Pour the caramel over the brownie batter.
Pecan Praline Layer:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and cream, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.
Spread the pecan praline mixture over the caramel layer.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the brownie layer comes out with moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
This indulgent brownie recipe offers layers of rich flavors and textures. Enjoy!

Unfinished maps give me anxiety just because I've seen so many mods in various games over my life that talk big but end up never happening
Please consider recording/producing in 4K. Or perhaps even something like 3840X1600 (21:9). For ASE, I can see how 1440p was sufficient but, 4K does pop for ASA. Keep it coming 💜
Dont have a 4k monitor, dont plan on getting one. Games run worse at higher res anyways so ark would be trash
@@Syntac I was worried about that also coming from a 2080ti in ASE. I spent way too much but got a great monitor (3860X1600 - 144Hz) then put a 4090 behind it with intels current house heater. That GPU pushes all those pixels believe it or not and at a great frame rate. I understand your POV. Nothing wrong with 1440. Your vids still look great but, I spoiled myself and now can see the difference accross most all current games/sims. Thanks for the reply.

Hey Syn, QOL+ is an ongoing port of old S+ with the pull system and transfer/Omni tool, with demo/dino gun.
The structures aren't fully ported yet but if you wanted something like the S+ that you were used to, I'd look into that mod

Syntacs Moshchops Orphanage.... all kids hand picked and orphaned by syntac himself! i actually did get a rex on day 1, i killed my 3 trikes, 2 steggos and a raptor but when it died i saw the rex baby... omg... thanks for the trade! lol also i use "Pelayori's Cryo Storage" and not had any issue nor has anyone on my server.

But I've been seeing that console is having some problems with mods so just beware of that.

Food and water replenish stamina. Walking when there are weather effects, instead of running, greatly reduces the drain on food and drink.
Not sure if it's known by the community or if it's a unique bug but I'd like to inform anyone who's interested. With the new baby dino spawning mechanics entered into ASA- I found something curious. Last night I was getting ready to tame a Doed. Found it halfway across the map and took it back to base so I could drop it in the taming pen. At the same time I was starving a Rex to tame, So I dropped the Doed into the Pen and went back to the Rex. It took about an hour or so to get back, with 2 game crashes in between so I'm not sure if it happened during relog on SP, or if it was a timing thing but when I finally walked the rex back to the base I looked in my Taming pen and there was the Doed I dropped in it, but it had a baby along with it that it didn't have before. So I Knocked it out and after it was tamed I got the imprint on the baby. It was 1 level higher than the parent was as if I actually tamed IT at 100% effectiveness. Also had different stats than the parent. So not sure if this can be used to "duplicate" max levels so You get a 2fer1 special on tames, at least in SP, possibly MP if it decides when to give a child if out of render distance. IDK. Maybe have some people who are more qualified than I to do a little digging and see. Just thought I'd bring it to your Attention Syn, as you're one of the most notable ARK creators out there and can let the word spread. Again, I haven't seen anything posted on if this is a new thing or it's known but either way- I'm putting it out there regardless.
Svartalfheim, also known in Old Norse as Niðavellir, is one of the Nine Realms of the World Tree and the homeland of the Dwarves!
Slightly wrong Nidavellir is the massive field and lake with the 3 forges if the elder dwarves and the last of the whale things forgot their name yeah but that is the majority of svartalfheim

If I may make a suggestion, the Additional Creatures mods are balanced for vanilla and provide a lot more variety and life for the game. Especially the Aquaria mod for the water. Off the top of my head there are multiple whales, several fish, some Icthyosaurs, a couple plesiosaurs, and some pliosaurs.
Its not a crypod mod, but the one that I've been using for my dinos is called "Omega Dino Storage" you could look into that. Not had any issues with it so far.
hey just a thought to your question about the fortitude bar. I think its telling u that you dont have enough fortitude in the area u are at cause once u leveled it up the cold icon disappeared meaning that u have enough fortitude in the area.
Syntac said that Lystro was gonna give him xp one way or the other.
There’s currently a glitch where you can put torch blueprints on your belt. The catch is that it still uses durability and then when you craft the blueprint the item starts with that durability taken away
I knew you could put the torch in your belt in ASA but not the blueprint 😂
