Very cool, I live in Deurne, and I regularly see and hear these embraer's takeoff and land. They're the largest planes that regularly operate here. There is also the very occasional 737 but that's very rare.
This is an old video. You see the truck and cars behind the runway still on the temporary deviation. That alternate road is gone now as the tunnel has been completed for a few years now.
The camera on the RH windshield is that CAA approved? I don't think so. What if it comes loose during take-off or landing? Is there a manual like the AMM that describes how the camera should be mounted? I don't think so, but maybe i'm wrong.
I was actually born in Antwerp and lived near the airport, Back in those days Sabena operated the 737-200 in/out of Antwerp. That was crazy. I took it to London a few times. Incredible experience taking off and landing at that airport!
Seems a very limited use captain only. How dangerous if you loose an engine just short of V1? Balanced field length is a potential risk with tiny margins.
@@Budmetro Ya most of the time we don't show the entire briefing here on You Tube... we leave that for those who buy our films... but here you got a taste of it. Sometimes they can be very long...

We enjoy filming Embraers as well!

I really like how German ATC ''clicks" at the end of each transmission, very distinctive
Its the push to talk button on the microphones. Love hearing it!
Embraer ❤

As mentioned, this is indeed an extended version of a 4 year old video. The F/O Evelina Zaripova is now a captain.
why did the FO hand over control to the captain after touchdown? ive seen this in other vids as well. thanks.
The "tiller" that is used to steer the plane on the ground is only on the captains side of the cockpit.
Good luck flying the plane
Antwerp - captains only. My learning point for the day!
Yes it is... the size of the runway I'm pretty sure is the main reason here.
Doesn’t the embraer have a heads up display?
Just planes how do you do to enter in the cockpit? please tricks.
Agreements made with 285 airlines over the past 30 years...
THAT`s nice be safe and goodbuy
Thanks and good bye!
All those displays and still using paper charts? What the point of all those nice screens? They cannot display nav charts?
Bom voo 🙏
Thank you José
wow Embraer plane from Brazil

Flying without his shoulder harness?
I just double checked and they both had it on for takeoff...
Great video......the FO must have hands free (no pen) in take off and approach.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Muchas gracias por su atención después hablamos de noticia está con bendiciones dé Dios ❤🎉😂 🙏👩👩👧🦁 amén amén
Be safe
You too!

jetair is old now its tui
Pilot05 yes it is 👍
My Grandfather used to fly to Berlin 3 times a week, Never landed though
Thats short runway yeah!
Yes for sure :)
The thumbnail looks like they are outside the cockpit of a KLM 747-400
That would have been a sight at that tiny airport :)
It's called click bait
You weren’t kidding about a short runway take off.

She is very unprofessional, and slow, not good in an emergency
That briefing was endless. 😂
These pilots are checked in the sim in emergencies, if they don't pass they don't fly...

@@justplanes well in my company she would be gone, she is toooo slow
