A thoughtful and eloquent man brings the anger and fear up from the small minded, and weak racists. How can I not find pleasure in seeing the power of truth!
This man is sharing his experience. At what point do we learn that all of us have an experience and the diverse combination is America? Such vile limited responses to one of many experiences. The exclusion of the diverse births the ignorance in these responses. Well, too bad, this too is America!

This is my issue with Rev Wright. If he chooses to speaks about social changes for the better and his vision of that I don't have any issue....but no where in scripture does Jesus EVER and I DO MEAN EVER talk about "social justice" or "social equality" what Christ Jesus does talk about is REPENT (meaning turning away from sin) and call on Him for a new heart. NO WHERE do I ever see Rev Wright speak those things. Like sex outside of marriage is wrong or homosexuality is a sin where Jesus reaffirmed Adam and Eve and that Soddom and Gommorah was an example of how serious sin will be in judgment when we leave this world. He speaks to me as one of the many Pharisees (aka Rev Wright) who like their names spoken of and the accolades of humans and ignores the spiritual truth of the Gospel that the poor we will have with us always...so said Jesus. He is just another false teacher with a following .....so did the Pharisees and had the ear of Rome. He is really only a Pagan in Christian (limited) verbiage. How any sitting president could have sat 12 years under this false teacher tells one more about the pres than the false teacher. Wake up America. (YOU have no revivals in your churches....(God is NOT a genie in a bottle to give you things...that is a lie).

It's funny...during his press conference he was asked a question regarding Obama and how little he (Obama) attends church. Wright then turned around and said "Well He attend church just as much as you do. What did your pastor preach last Sunday?" And the individual asking the question couldn't answer. Classic...don't let the media paint the picture for you 1927Noma because thats what I see. You make a claim of what you see on TV. If you were a member...he speaked on so much more.
Norma, "Love your neighbor as yourself" is social equality.You just need to understand who your neighbors are, everyone !!! Social justice, Jesus said "Judge not less you be judged. For by the same measure that you judge, you shall be judged. For how can you pluck the mote out of your brother's eye , when you have a log in your own eye?" And no, God is not a genie in a bottle, but my Heavenly Father has "cattle on a thousand hills", and He will "store up the wealth of the wicked for the righteous" :-)
