- Charlotte has worked in retail most of her adult life and she shares her experiences of working in a supermarket during a pandemic. Her advice is to think before you buy when you're doing your weekly shop, as many people are in a worse situation than you. Charlotte says: "I'm realising now just how important my job is".

I hear what you are saying Charlotte, but there is the opposite end of the scale where supermarket staff are quite rude, maybe cos they are frightened and scared but the way sometimes me and my friends have been spoken to is quite abrupt, what we say is corona virus doesn’t take away your manners! Maybe you should wear a mask for your own well being and health, but also the customer and the shop assistant should be kind to each other! It works both ways
