I discovered your TVXQ reaction by accident and I binged your whole playlist in one sitting and it was such a trip down memory lane T_T Thanks to you I have come back to listen to their songs after 10+ years. I took a break from following their activities because it was too much of a heartache to realize that we'd never get to see them sing these amazing songs as five. But the way you appreciate their music helped me to re-appreciate what all of them were able to pull off together. And now I can finally appreciate their solo and activities as 2+3 as well. And it doesn't hurt my heart as much listening to them now, thanks to you
It's strange to think that this is their first Killing Voice but it's been so long since they released anything in Korea. I really loved their 20th anniversary album; there's only a couple of songs that aren't my thing but everything else is gold.
It's so nice to see you back in Cassieland, Hurraira! Definitely missed the "hope you're doing well". And it's 100% true, nobody sings a ballad like TVXQ. I'm with you, I wish they did some of their Japanese songs-but that just means they need to be invited back as Tohoshinki to do their Japanese discography!!!
@@Kimmyfimmy-z4z There's not single answer to this. I wouldn't say they are totally forgotten, just look at their album sales and concerts in Japan. I just think that SM has tendencies to create new and forget 'old', even tho old is still good, has big fandom and brings money. After 2018 album TVXQ went to military and then focused on solo careers more. In the meantime Max got married and he and his wife had a baby, so between 2018 and 2023 they only had japanese releases. So yeah, SM are not really promoting them outside of Korea and Japan and they're older now, it would be weird if SM NCT-ified them to make them trendy. Tvxq has always evolved with time and they tried quite a lot of genres but i don't see them changing just to top charts yn. Honestly I don't think tvxq will be getting new big waves of fans anymore, they'll just rely on their fandom + those who listen out of nostalgia.

Maybe that's because of a lack of korean comebacks in last few years. tvxq also rose to the popularity before streaming era and big social media era. yet again, i think it's sm's fault of not utilizing those things more. On the other hand I don't know how much more Yunho and Max would be willing to participate now that they're older. I remember Max calling himself 'SM's work cow', and I know part of it is a joke, but they've worked and promoted so much in their careers already.
I just recently got into TVXQ after knowing Changmin through Kingdom and some of his solo work. They are amazing 😮😮😮 The 20&2 album is great and their anniversary concert was fabulous. Sorry this comment is so long. I just have a lot of recommendations and am happy you reacted to TVXQ again. I hope you will react to some of their variety shows and concerts in the future. Also Jaejoong will be releasing an album for his 20th anniversary sometime this year. I think around May or June it will be released. And I think Junsu will be releasing an album this year too for his 20th anniversary. It was also announced Junsu will be performing at the Weverse Con Festival again this year on June 15th. And Jaejoong will be performing at the Weverse Con Festival as well for the first time on June 16th.
