- This concert was performed on January 23, 1993 at the Carpenters Home Church in Lakeland, Florida. In honor of its thirtieth anniversary, Team Sandi is sharing this special footage which includes many songs from the Another Time, Another Place project and includes many of Sandi's greatest hits.
I was born in 1977 and I would and still look at Sandi as my second mother. She just a humble, friendly, and down to earth. I want to say to my best friend Jesus thank you for letting me meet Sandi the few times I have seen her in concert. I am a Christian but I realize I am not perfect and I am grateful that God allows me with his Grace and Mercy I can ask for forgiveness and God as amazing as it is, he forgives me just like that. I love you Jesus and the local church that I attend and member of. God Bless - Jason. Another Place, Another Place is my all time favorite project by Sandi. I will never understand why Word Records allow this beautiful project go out of print.
The first time I saw Sandi in concert I was in college. I was probably too old to get on stage at that time (circa 1997/1998 in Westerville, Ohio). It's an experience I've never forgotten. Fast forward to her stop in Grove City, Ohio for the Forever Grateful tour. I got VIP tickets so I could meet her for the very first time. I was star struck and like a kid. Sandi--I told you this at the concert, but your Hymns Just For You *cough cough* cassette tape was the first recording I purchased. It was the beginning of my love for hymns. You don't know how you touched this, once little boy's, life over the years. I've sang with you. I've cried with you. I've laughed with you. Thank you is not enough. You are loved from Columbus, Ohio.
There is no one that can put on a HOLY SPIRIT FILLED concert like Sandi Patty could!!! People got saved under her concerts, Thank you Lord Jesus for working through Sandi Patty and her music for leading people to Christ!!!! AMEN THANK YOU JESUS 🙏❤️😇☦️💒📖⛪🕍🛐✝️🎹
20 years later she is doing the same...praising the Lord with her talented given voice.
The best part of this concert was the classic intimate ballads!!! I've never seen her sing her older songs in any of her concerts. So this is pretty much my FAVORITE live concert ever. In His Hands, In His Love....I love those songs!! SHE SUNG ALL MY FAVORITE SONGS!!!! Now this concert should have been promoted!!
😭😭😭😭😭 ohhhhh!!!! So much memories…..it’s taking me back. I used to always sing Sandi’s songs! I would always run to the Christian store near where I lived and would always buy her albums and then learn the songs and then order her “accompaniment tracks’ so I can practice and sing it at my special numbers at my church! My Dad became a Pastor and would sing special numbers before he preached and even when he was a co-Pastor and at other church functions. He has gone home to Heaven for a long time now and miss him so much! Remembering all the moments during Sandi Patti times. I loved Sandi Patti so much!! I still do!! I would always look forward to buying her album songs in cassette tapes and VHS videos of concerts. Oh my goodness!!! Those are the years for me!!! So blessed to see this on UA-cam!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I just can’t stop crying listening and watching this whole concert! Sandi Patti is the best!! A rare and special gift to the body of Chris!! The Lord be glorified and lifted high!! Hallelujah!!!!

I was at this amazing concert in 1993! Sandi just blew me away with her vocals and stamina as always. I am always amazed and moved every time she sings. I have been following Sandi's career since the beginning (and Tiffany's too). She was and still is my inspiration for singing gospel music in church and in ministry. I am still singing in my sixties and love to praise the Lord. Thank you Sandi for using your vocal gift for the glory of God.

I'm pretty sure I attended a concert on this tour when I was about 9 😂 It was a birthday gift! I still remember it to this day AND I went up for the Friendship Company thing 😁

My grandma introduced me to Sandi Patty when I was 3. She'd play her songs while giving me a bath! At 3...I was a fan 👶🙌

Sandi your music has carried me through the highs and lows of my life. You have always been my husband and I favorite Christian artist. I have listened to every concert on UA-cam there is with you. Recently my husband had a huge sarcoma and December 27, 2022 had to have his leg amputated. Again your music carried us through, we love you. You're a blessing!

I heard so many older songs that I never heard Sandi perform live before like Lift Up The Lord, It’s your song Lord, In his Love, In His Hand. Wow!!! So many wonderful memories! This was an epic concert! Thanks Sandi for all the wonderful memories!

I was first privileged to see Sandi during her "Make His Praise Glorious" concert tour in Oklahoma City at the Myriad Convention Center, in March of 1988 (I think). My wife had purchased tickets for my birthday present and they were 10 rows from the stage!!. It was definitely glorious. I have followed and prayed for her since, even through the tough times. I plan to worship with her at her home church in OKC soon (I am pianist/organist at a church in western OK, so I am tied up many Sundays). Still praying for you and hope to personally meet you some day.

Joey, check out "Make His Praise Glorious" on UA-cam. Many of the songs from "Another Time, Another Place" album are featured in this concert, accept some of her earlier recordings. This new FL concert is better than "Make His Praise Glorious."
@@WIanWalker well of course we've all had that tour on tape for years. This was remarkable because it was never released. Also, no songs from ATAP are on the MHPG tour because ATAP wasn't even out yet when the MHPG tour (technically the "Praise Glorious World Tour") was happening.
I've been to many Sandi patty concerts it this, this touched my soul. Thank you for your lifetime ministry of the good times and the bad. You have given all and I praise our Lord and Savior for you

She said in an interview with The 700 Club, "So Far" is the song that really hit her at a particular time. I love that song. There's a Filipino version of that song.❤

Beautiful concert by Sandi Patty and I loved it. Sandi had the best hair style from 1988 to 1993. I was hoping that she would sing He Watches Over You, then I remembered she did not release this song until late Spring/early Summer 1993. The project Our Family and the project Le Voyage were kind of released at the same time. God Bless -Jason.

What a wonderful find of this concert from 1992 in your archives! It was in October 92, that Sandi we did that interview in Toronto and it started a wonderful friendship with you and your team! It is so wonderful to hear so many of these now classic songs in this amazing concert! You were definately having fun!! What ever happened to Brian McCee...he used to tour with you for years?
