Notes, hope this helps inshaAllah
Lesson one
- [ ] Rabb is the most mentioned names of Allah in the Quran
- [ ] Rabb directly translates to lord, however it originates from the Arabic word rabbaha which means to look after something until it reaches full maturity
- [ ] Rabb-master automatically goes with abd-slave
- [ ] Links to murabbee; parent to a child, teacher to a student etc.
- [ ] The prophets would often use the word rabb when they were conversing with Allah
- [ ] The prophets would use rabbi/rabbee at times joy and despair
- [ ] We as slaves to Allah worship him because we fill endlessly indebted to him, as he gives us so much that we don’t deserve, or did nothing to get e.g. life/Islam etc. So we worship him out love and gratitude
- [ ] The name rabb is never used when Allah talks about punishing an individual/people
Jazakalahu khyran for that ❤
Jazakallah khair 😭 Alhumma barik
Thank you for this :) May Allah reward you.

Mind blowing lecture
I'm not in a haram relationship... But there's a person in my heart .. that really I want him to be mine... Please don't forget your sister from dua may allah blessing you and all your dreams come true insha'ellah 🤲🤲🤲
Ask Allah to guide you , because our heart need to be in melody with our action , Its no health it to live with one person and in your heart theres another. this is my opinion . Im sorry if disappoint you !
Never use insha'Allah when making dua.... It means if allah wills he will give u and if doesn't he wont.... This is not correct when making dua we should always ask allah and say ameen❤
@@shahbazkhan9381 thank you brother
@@MartaRodriguez-iu8so probably brother
See who you're asking for and why you're asking for. Is the intention is only to satisfy yourself, and intention is not for Allah.
If you make the intention to satisfy Allah that o Allah, if I get that person I will be able to easily worship you and do work you commanded. Pure your intention ukhti

Die Upon the Fitrah
Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja’tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja’a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi kitābika-l-ladhī anzalt, wa bi Nabiyyika-lladhī arsalt.
O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge or safe haven from You except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Before you go to bed, perform wudhū as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side and say [the above]. Whoever says this and dies in his sleep, will die upon the ‘fitrah’ (natural monotheism).” (Bukhārī 6313)
In another narration the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Let the aforesaid words be your last utterance (before sleep).” (Bukhārī 247)
Assalamualaikum! Jazak Allah for this wonderful series.
I don't think it's funny to compare marrying a revert or someone from "outside of the village" to a sin. Islam is for everyone and the tendency people have to reject these kinds of marriages is extremely un-Islamic.
Don't forget that the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them, were all reverts!
Advert every few minutes!😊

Alhamdulillah for this lecture

Because I’m a revert and have been married for 27 years so what preconceived notions these cultures have are not always necessary correct. I didn’t know racism until I became Muslim.
Salaam Ustadh Hisham can you please quote the ayat numbers. It would be helpful..

Assalamualaikum, did someone make notes of the lectures? Please share if you did. Jaza Kal Allah khair
The ads in between are very distracting, like one every 5 mins thats awful
SubhanAllah this is so enjoyable but why on earth would you allow for SO MANY ADS!? This is not honouring the topic of Allahs names. Do we need so many distractions from such a subject?! It’s very difficult for people with ADHD/Autism to concentrate already let alone inserting all these ads and most of which are non Islamic. SubhanAllah may Allah swt guide yous

can I ask from which country he originally from
Which book is infront of him?
Why so many ads??
Good, but too much ad
I though it was Adam and Hawa both on earth and they both made that dua
Pls turn off your ads jzk
The number one name of Allah is Rahman, which means the universally merciful, all merciful.
The number two name of Allah is Rahim, which means the especially merciful.
But looking at what the muslims do, they do everything but being merciful.
When will be the next session 2?
Every Saturday after maghrib UK time, inshaAllah
@@hishamabuyusuf Thank You Ustadh Hisham, i am truly follow each of your sessions on these names of Allah series. (Also been waiting for your upcoming sessions on the most special names of Him for me that i always kept deepest in my believing heart ~ Al-Haadi & Ar-Rasheed).

@@hishamabuyusuf this was mind-blowing subhanAllah, it also made me reflect on the powerless of our enemies in this duniaa, they are also part of the perfect plan of Allah which we will eventually understand bi'idnillah ta3ala, in sha Allah.. Allahu Akbar
Yes. the translation can be a bit
Differ than what is actually said.
I really don’t like it. There are synonyms that’s why. It pains me when I see a brother or sister comment translated to something horrific. it’s bothering.
Imagine-Bringing home a revert brother or sister 46:30 for marriage is considered a major crime in his society. How sad😞😞
Why?
The Arabic Wikipedia article contains more than 10 different lists by various Islamic scholars. The lists together contain 276 names of Allah and one can comfortably assume that there are other lists with more names.
Analyzing the list of Allah's names, we see that some of the names are not proper names, but just simply nouns like "patience". Sometimes the name is derived from a verb occurring in the Quran. Using the same methodology, we could find many more names of Allah in the Quran. For example, the verse 8:17 says Allah killed people, so why not take this verb and say that Allah's name is (al-qaatil) The Killer? The Qur'an also terms Allah as The Best of Deceivers (khayru al-makireena), a name not found in the list.
perfect example of compounded ignorance. Seek ilm please, not Wikipedia
The most popular list of the 99 names comes from a Da'if/Weak hadiths by Jami at-Tirmidhi 3507 and Sunan Ibn Majah 3861. Muslims always criticize non-Muslims for quoting Da'if hadiths and always reject them with the good old "that's a weak hadith, you don't know anything about hadith science".
