Lauren, Thank you for sharing your life with us. After reading some of the comments, it concerns me and hope you don't second guess that decision because of what a "few"people have said. I'm glad you were able to get away and get some you time. My mom passed in June 2020 and it is still so hard to be without her, especially during the holidays. I am so glad you were able to have an opportunity to talk to your mom. I wish II could afford to do something like thst. I would love to be able to talk to her although I know she is with me everyday. Don't miss the signs because they are there. We support you in everything you do, so please don't pay attention to the negative, strange comments...Happy New Year Lauren and lad you are back!
My heart hurts for you!! I lost my dad 5 years ago next month and I still can't watch and enjoy football games because it's just not the same without him. Grief is ever evolving, it doesn't get easier it just gets different. We still celebrate his birthday, my mom gives all of us cards and gifts and still signs his name which fills my heart but it's so hard. This past Christmas was probably the hardest. He loved Christmas. He passed away while I was pregnant with my first child, I like to think he was keeping her company while she was waiting to join us ❤ we talk about him often. He's visited me in a couple of dreams, I know some people think that's crazy but it was very real and comforting for me and that's all that matters. I'm blessed to have 2 father in laws that love me and treat me as their own daughter which eases the loss in a way and he loved both of them. Big hugs to you!! It's so hard losing your parent anytime but it felt way too soon. I was 37 when he passed and I'm 42 now. I just miss him so much and miss his laugh ❤ big hugs and love to you!! I'm glad you got that time to process!!

I did something different this year, I started taking Christmas down the Saturday after News Years. I do a room a day, after work. I Take my time and put things away neatly and very organized.

I am so glad you were able to get alone and process the deep grief of loosing a beloved parent. I miss my precious mom every second. I know her spirit is with me every day/ night! I talk to my mom every single day. Sending you all the love and comfort! BBQ chicken sand sounds so good right now!!❤

I love your channel, I lost my mom when I was 13 years old. I had two younger brothers and an older sister that is handicapped left at home and I took care of them. I miss my mom every day and I’m 60 years old. Don’t rush grief. In some ways you will grieve forever. It gets easier but it takes time. You are in my prayers sweetheart. You hang in there.

Lauren, thanks for sharing about your grief retreat. I lost my mom as a senior in high school...very unexpectedly as well. I speak to her often and feel her with me anytime I need her. God is with us and shares our Angels with us as we need them. Hope you feel better from your cold soon. (Organic honey works great with the throat and cough...a teaspoon whenever it's aggravated...amazing how much quicker I feel better.)

I'm so glad you got to connect with your mom! She knows you take her around the house with you and you sit in the closet wearing her ring! I was very depressed for two years after losing my mom and I would put her dressing gown on and just sit in my closet too! It does get easier with time. Much love and hugs to you Lauren. xx

My moms death anniversary was on the fifth of this month. My sister was visiting the Villages in FL. They do a painted rock hunt and her family looks for them. But on the 5th she found a rock just laying beside her car. It was an angel with brown hair and said you are my sunshine. My sis was telling me and I just cried. I was happy for her but wish I’d have something like that happen. I miss my mom so much some days it feels I can’t breathe. Other days it’s not so bad. It’s a process for sure. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Love ya chick.
I will begin to take down our Christmas decor & put it away tomorrow. I like to take my time and organize everything. How nice of your husband to hire a team to take down your decorations and pack them away! Take time to grieve the loss of your Mom🙏🏻.
I recently came across a youtube channel, Treating the streets like a runway, she does videos with business attire. The clothing items she finds are so cute and very classic and not too trendy. I love her videos. I personally do not have to dress up for work, we are very casual, but still nice inspiration. Have a great day!

I did the same thing when I turned 40. I said I was going to do a book what to expect after 40. I never did but the changes you go thru is crazy. I am now doing it again after 50. I’m almost 54 and now feel I want the edgy business casual.

I think it’s absolutely wonderful that you got help during this heartbreaking time. The pain of grief never goes away but there are healthy ways to grieve. What the psychic said was true our loved ones are always with us if you just speak to your mom she can hear you. Do whatever you feel in your heart helps you! It sounds like that psychic reading was a real comfort to you. I’m glad you were able to feel that connection to your mom. I know what a difference that can make. I lost my mom in 2009 and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. I believe she sent me signs to let me know she was ok and watching over me, and it made such a difference on those hard days.

My mom passed in 2013 and and I miss her more now then ever. I’ve been going through a lot….not necessarily bad, just a bit challenging and stressful…and I’m seriously thinking abt trying some grief this also. Sometimes you need a total stranger who is 100% objectives to see clearly.

We are all spirit energy. Just because our physical body dies does not mean our spirit dies. Trust your intuition and if that is telling you that was your mother, then you are absolutely correct. As for the demon comments-I wholeheartedly believed in God and pray everyday but remember the Bible was written by man. I hope you are using a humidifier with some kind of vapo-pads of vapo steam for that sinus infection. Makes a huge difference! The Lavender Eucalyptus worked best for me but they have been hard to find.
The anxiety I felt when I saw you strain the broth and didn’t know there was a container underneath 😱😆 LOL! I’ve made bone broth many times and to lose a single drop is pain 😅 Happy to see you back from the holidays, can’t wait for all you will share in 2024 ♥️

I'm so glad you didn't leave I watch your videos all the time I'm sorry for the loss of your mom I talk to mine alot to.i remember when my husband and I had COVID at Thanksgiving I went outside and I was talking to my mom even though she passed as well and I was telling her my family and I need a break I saw a shooting star I don't know if it was coincidence but thought that was pretty cool

My Christmas was crazy this year. We had a bedbug invasion so we had a 3 week treatment during November on the house. Then I got sick the grandkids have been sick on and off. I decorated somewhat between not feeling well and not finding the decor in time and dealing with the extermination ...then the prelit tree died on us. So we threw 2 net light strands on it with colored lights and the girls homemade ornaments from preschool and called it good!😂 We are still enjoying the tree but outside lights came down and just a few indoor items are getting put away soon. It was just one of those kind of a crazy Christmas's this year. Normally it would have made me go into a crying fetal position but it didn't. Not sure if at 64 I'm wiser or lost it completely 😂😂😂. We made it work. We baked more Christmas cookies yesterday and the kids are still running through the house still listening and singing at level 13 Christmas songs on their new tablets. Thats life at my house with a 2 and 5 yr old 😊
