Paul, I found this one of your best videos to watch as you just went right in to the subject without 2, 3, or more minutes of unrelated chat etc.. Very enjoyable and informative.
Great Tips. I would love to see these videos in 1080 to get a better idea of the shot quality. But thank you, this video may have pushed me over the edge on buying the osmo.
great video. quick question(s): what case do you use for the osmo now that you have some more equipment? and in one of your other videos you talk about the neewer dolly slider with the arm that you can use but that isnt the link you have listed.... which one do you like? thanks!
Hey bro! Great video!!! Extremely helpful. But I do have a question. What are you attaching the Magic Arm to in order for it to attach to the quick release in the tripod? Because on Amazon the picture looks like its a hot shoe attachment on the arm. Thanks
Which extension arm is being used on the tripod and the skater dolly? I have the DJI straight arm extension and it doesn't look like that's what you're using.
I just picked one of these up this past Friday and with little training, I got some pretty good results. The onboard Mic (as everyone says in all the reviews and I knew before I purchased) and the external Mic were horrible - So I wont be using audio from this device. But the video is really awesome.
So, i just subscribed to your Drone U podcast through the podcast app on the iphone. However i do not see updated podcasts, the last one on there is from 2015. Do i have to go to itunes in order to get the updated ones? thank you
Good ideas, but it's good to show the exact parts and adapters you used to achieve each mount option. Although the viewer could think up their own solution, show exactly what parts you used. Thanks.
Looks like there is an additional attachment holding the suction cup and osmo together, what is it? Also, are you using a regular tripod or the DJI tripod? Do you recommend one over the other?
I used the suction cup and a few other GoPro accessories and mounted the Osmo above the glass at my son's hockey game and was able to control the Osmo from my mini iPad in the stands and catch all sorts of great shots.
Hi, where can I get the Suction Cup Mount for Dji Omso ? The link on the description (Amazon) is for "GOPRO" suction cup, are they comparable? Thanks for the great video! Already subscribed your channel!
Thanks that was very useful given me some great ideas for using the Osmo more love the suction cup and never thought of panning via the app when tripod mounted.
Great vid, just wondering what you used to attach the OSMO with the suction mount, I can make out the screws and attachments, but what is it that Goes into the OSMO itself?
I appreciate these ideas. I ordered and received articulating arm. You have 11 inch but it looks like in your video you use a 7in which I think is better because its shorter. 11in arm without a rosette mount sags and does not seem to support weight. I am using x5 osmo so that may have something to do with it. The 11 inch arm does not work.
I have a few questions. I'm trying to decide which version of the OSMO to get the OSMO+, pro, or RAW. One reason to get the pro or RAW is only having to purchase it once and be able to grow into. I want to be able to zoom and I know you can get the Olympus M.Zuiko ED lens for the pro and RAW to change lenses. What are your suggestions? I like the X5R for the high resolution and RAW, but is it needed for doing inspection of high tension lines or other things, or can you get away with a lower resolution? Since the camera can be removed from the Inspire and the handle of the OSMO would it be a good idea to get an OSMO+ and then and Inspire with the pro or RAW camera?
Hey Paul, really enjoying your videos. I have a question for you, where do you go to get the music for your videos, such as those you made for drones? I'm talking about the ones such as stealing a boat wake. I recently downloaded loaded Final Cut X for my Mac Book pro and I'm having an issue with finding the background music. A website that has background music for videos such as those for actions or suspense, would be extremely helpful. Thank you so much!! Lou
Great video guys, I love this tricks you shared! btw do you use the Z Axis on your Osmo? Do you think it adds some real smoothness to your videos? Cheers Massimo
Hey Paul, cool videos, thanks for the great tips! I'm new to the Osmo scene, I have the Osmo+ and have been working with it for a few weeks. One problem I've been having, and I see it a little in your panning shots as well, is a small but annoying bit of jitter in the footage. The shot will be smooth for a second or two, then it appears to skip a frame, then it's smooth again, then will skip again. I'm referring to shots using either the DJI Go app. or using the joystick, not the handheld pans. I've tried many, many different settings, various fps, shutter speeds, etc.; but I just can't get what I feel is a nice jitter free panning shot. The gimbal appears to move very smoothly, but I can see on my iPhone that the footage is jittery and I thought maybe the processor in the phone wasn't fast enough, and it was just a monitoring issue, but the jitters are still there in post on my computer. I tried using different phones and even an iPod Touch with the app., doesn't seem to matter. Any thoughts on this? Is it something I'm doing incorrectly? Am I being unrealistic in expecting a perfectly fluid shot? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
Hello! I noticed you are in Albuquerque. I also live here and it would be pretty cool if we could meet up and shoot a video sometime. I have a phantom and an Osmo plus
I love the comparison on the GoPro and Osmo on the bike,- the path biked look...little bit different hahaha :) Down Hill v.s sidewalk (Y) But,- thanks for brilliant video, nice tutorial.
Where do you get the long "push/pull" handle that you mentioned on other podcast for the NEEWER® Tabletop Mobile Rolling Slider Dolly Car Skater Video?
Great video. I am planning on getting an inspire. If I get an Osmo first can I purchase an inspire without a camera and use the Osmo camera with the inspire 1?
You can get an Inspire on its own but has no controller no batteries no charger no camera & gimbal. I've looked at going this way but it looks like it ends up costing more. Any other info would be appreciated.
Awesome stuff! Got me inspired to use my Osmo more now!! Got almost all the stuff you use to mount it, but never realized I could just combine it all!:) Thanks! Keep up the awesome work! Your content really looks good! Grtz, Tim

Paul Ive watched a few and you are a wealth of information and very funny too as you speak your mind. I love it. Keep it coming.
I like the idea's where can these accessories be purchased at please?
awesome got this will you do a video on how to update the software.... awesome job
How did you mount the osmo to the tripod? What accessories did you need? Thanks
nice video. Just asking, do you use the 4k format when shooting with osmo?
Great video, but why are you only shooting in 720 when you're showing all this great gear you're working with?
Great vid guys! Whats the music in the background? Thanks.
What setting would you use for skiing? With the best mount?
Thank you! I bought one since last Christmas and I have used it yet! Watching tutorials to learn 😱😱😱😱
Great video! Love the dolly idea
Also, it looks like your articulating arm is the 7" instead of the 11" you provided the link to. Is that correct?
great video. quick question(s): what case do you use for the osmo now that you have some more equipment? and in one of your other videos you talk about the neewer dolly slider with the arm that you can use but that isnt the link you have listed.... which one do you like? thanks!
Hey Paul that video is superb, can you please tell me is osmo + good ?
Outstanding!! Very creative and useful!! I'll be using all of those methods for sure! Thanks for sharing!

Found this dude.
really like the car shot , almost make me want to buy it
Hows the suction pads hold up ? i dont wanna lose my 1k usd purchase on a bumpy road
How do you lock the gimbal so it's stationary if you want to do your own camera movements with the Osmo?
Thank you for this video... The helmet mount idea was exactly what I was needing information on!
will this gopro mount solution work with the DJI Osmo Mobile as well? Thanks DroneU!
What other accessories are needed to use the OSMO with the go pro suction mount?
Which extension arm is being used on the tripod and the skater dolly? I have the DJI straight arm extension and it doesn't look like that's what you're using.
Great video guys. Where type of tripod and extension is in the video?

Some really great ideas, thanks!
Solid video, very information, great filming for the narration segments.
This was a great video and plan on using this to help me with my Osmo1
Awesome Video Guys! Blew my mind to the amazing possibilities of using the Osmo! Thank you. Peace out from South Africa.
+Kelly & Woods thanks for the love!

+Brad Echter That's an excellent idea that you had! Glad that you were able to maximize the potential of your Osmo, I bet the shots turned out great!
Paul, AWESOME IDEAS! This really opened my offerings to my new client!
Thanks mate !
Thanks for the video ... can you link me to the type of bracket you are using on the osmo .
Thank you. This is an awesome, succinct video. I wish you had some amazon links for these products so you could benefit from my purchase!
For the tripod mount, do I need both the SP gadget adapter and the Neewer extended arm or just the Neewer alone? (Apologies if already asked).
Great vid, just wondering what you used to attach the OSMO with the suction mount, I can make out the screws and attachments, but what is it that Goes into the OSMO itself?
Great info Paul! Definitely loved the visual demo to go along with it! Thank you!
Would you like to show the adapter for the Go Pro helmet mount more than 1/2 second at a slightly better angle???
Hi in the 1:49 min. I see an adapter for the gopro suction, where can I get it? Thanks! Great video!
google it
lalotong o
hello, installation on monopod is possible, but an extension for the command on the monopod to shake the camera exists?
Great vid. Am I to assume the GoPro suction cup mount listed above works with the Osmo? Do you need any special adapters?
Where can i get the dolly from?
great vid too with great ideas :)
+Shadow6 thanks! Here is the info: NEEWER® Tabletop Mobile Rolling Slider Dolly: amzn.to/1RQFhWT

Cool video! Just bought me a Osmo
where can i find the rolling dolly for the osmo??? do i have to buy a mount separately??
Did you stabilize some footage of the Osmo?
Nice presentation, thanks for sharing

what kind of mount to do you use that screws in to the body of osmo?
Great video guys, I love this tricks you shared!
btw do you use the Z Axis on your Osmo? Do you think it adds some real smoothness to your videos?
Cheers
Massimo
On the skateboard dolly shots, did you use a track of some sort? If so, what? Thanks!
No, they just roll it on the ground, like a skateboard.
Hi, Paul
bought an osmo plus but having grains in night footage in comparison with the osmo what should i do??
I liked the video. contemplating getting this
Excellent job,Thank You
do you have instructions for making the helmet mount for the OSMO using the GoPro mount?
Grab a 3m gopro mount, use a gopro extension arm and then use the adapter plate to take a gopro mount into a 1/4x20 screw.
Cool video! Thanks for the sharing! 👌👍
Hey Paul, cool videos, thanks for the great tips!

Very informative video. I just ordered everything on your equipment list (if I didn't already have it)!
Esiste qualcosa per il track motion? Cioè vorrei che segua il soggetto da solo! Grazie
great video Paul... :)
can you attach the Osmo to a GoPro mount without the adapter
Sold! Your great video helped me decide to buy one!
Hello! I noticed you are in Albuquerque. I also live here and it would be pretty cool if we could meet up and shoot a video sometime. I have a phantom and an Osmo plus
i do not have a dji osmo yet..but this video kept inspiring me to get 1
very nice video, very informative...
any tips for the suction cup mount?
i've had it come off 2 times already.
sorry the dji suction cup mount not the gopro one
I love the comparison on the GoPro and Osmo on the bike,- the path biked look...little bit different hahaha :) Down Hill v.s sidewalk (Y)
But,- thanks for brilliant video, nice tutorial.
Where do you get the long "push/pull" handle that you mentioned on other podcast for the NEEWER® Tabletop Mobile Rolling Slider Dolly Car Skater Video?
My unprofessional opinion tells you to get a broomstick and ducktape...should work.
may I ask: what mini dolly is that?
Hey !!! Who is the author, name of this song at the begining of the video ?
So professionnal video !
How are you attaching the osmo to the go pro suction cup mount? Thank you.
Via the adapter plate. Amazon link in the description.
Wow, I've had my Osmo for a while now, never thought to put it on a dolly. Thanks for these great ideas! I'm hitting "subscribe" now!
hi
where can find gopro adapters for osmo?
question thats drone related, am i totally screwed if our maverick drone got fully submerged into water?
Still can't find what extension arm was used for the extension arm + dolly setup. Can someone please help?

È una grande scoperta tecnologico bravi i scopritore , UN CARO SALUTO DA VIMERCATE MONZA BRIANZA ITALIA GIUSEPPE MORIELLO.
Thanks 4 ur video
Have you seen any good 4th axis mounts on the market?
+Aerial Solutions of Wyoming not really. We do love the Ronin M but it's a 3 axis.
Great video. I am planning on getting an inspire. If I get an Osmo first can I purchase an inspire without a camera and use the Osmo camera with the inspire 1?
+Scott Richardson I think you can use your inspire X3 on your osmo but not your osmo camera on the inspire.
You can get an Inspire on its own but has no controller no batteries no charger no camera & gimbal. I've looked at going this way but it looks like it ends up costing more. Any other info would be appreciated.
thank you
The photography dolly is a great idea. I like it.
Thanks Man!
Check this out: prodes.tv/skyglide/index.php?id_product=12&controller=product&id_lang=1
Comparing a GoPro mounted to a cyclist riding down the side of a mountain with the Osmo on a flat footpath; hardly fair..
Compare to a dowhill style ,not fair ...
That dude would die if he tried to ride down a mountain 😂😂
What is the brand of the suction cup and extension arm?
Amazon link in the description
Thanks! Reviews on that neewer articulating arm aren't great. Assume you're happy though.
Thank you man ! Cheers from Brasil !
You're welcome !! Cheers !
Great work!
that was very nice to watch! thanks man!
You're welcome !
Thanks
wich song do you use on this video?
You are going so fast i wish there where more close ups howe you set it up.
1:28 what is that adapter, I can't find it..
Awesome stuff! Got me inspired to use my Osmo more now!! Got almost all the stuff you use to mount it, but never realized I could just combine it all!:) Thanks! Keep up the awesome work! Your content really looks good!
