    Agree with that 1/4" ratchet choice. That round head yoke swivel is the most useful ratchet I have found.

    You should try one of those Snap On bit driver ratchets with the 1/4" on the other side. BLPBTW6- they also make an 8 inch version BLPBTW8. Also Ezred makes one that is a bit cheaper.

    Adding some to my collection after watching this. Another good video, man! Very informative and useful. Even for motorcycles in my case. P.S.... Jelly of the box and tools.

      Took some years investing thousands into it. I don’t regret it though even if I stopped wrenching for a living I’d never regret the purchases I think I would spent less on the name brand trucks and more on quality “mid grade” tools though

    Cool video! I couldn’t agree more with the reversible ratcheting wrenches. I’ve seen that exact problem happen to a tech. Poor guy had backed the nut all the way out and couldn’t remove the tool and had to chop his 12mm. Snap On just to remove the fastener.

      I’ve never had to cut a tool but I’ve been close! Thanks for watching! More stuff like this to come!

      True almost been there too. It sucks. About to let a tool take a ride on a vehicle or destroy a tool because it bottomed out with no reverse.

    I just became a diesel apprentice and have been given hand me down everything but I want to start getting my own tools. I work on big trucks like semis, fire trucks, etc. what’s good?

    I can't seem to find the Snap-On panel removal tool on the Snap-On website. Do you have a part number for that?

    I like snap on but I will tell you their ratchet wrench are the worst. They have a weak mechanism.

    • @fitzdiesel2630
      @fitzdiesel2630  2 роки тому

      Well they have a lot more teeth compared to like a gear wrench so they may not be able to take the torque that a gear wrench one would take but I prefer them in tighter areas. I’ve had to warrantee a couple of matco ones and only 1 snap on
