SMKW really does well at connecting to their customers! Its always fun to see how active the folks in charge are with the community on social media and at events. Love the knife and appreciate how much your enthusiasm shines through for these traditionals JB!
Nice little knife. I actually said out loud while watching this video, 'That's a great knife.' Wrote it down for possible purchase, budget permitting. Thanks for showing. Love Barlows.
Im going to go out on a limb and say this is a case where I like the Micarta better. I think the red bone is gorgeous and I normally take natural materials such as bone over micarta but the brown Micarta was just fantastic. I still might grab the Red jig-ged bone as well. Comparing it the Finch was no fair! That was so nice of Brian. He’s the man!
Really liked the look of the original when it came out except for the colour of the Micarta, it is a beautiful looking knife and I love the fat Spearpoint blade, personally I think it would be better without a shield, they aren't on Heinnie Haynes yet so don't know what the price will be, might be pulling the trigger this time. 😁
I bought one of the new RRR 017RB Barlows. I like the knife itself and wish I had gotten one of the original micarta versions. That being said, I dislike the bone jigging. It looks sterile like the jigging on the Chinese Boker knives.

It's a great barlow! I am glad I grabbed one. Great video JB!!!
Awesome Randy!
I love barlows, but I hate clip points. It is so nice to see one with more of a drop point or spear point blade. Great find, JB!
