His cyl power has increased from -0.75 to -2.25 in last 25 years.
In 1999 it was -0.75
Now in 2024 its -2.25
(After every 4-5 years it has increased by -0.25)
Is this normal?

mam ! dr ne mujhe both eyes me -0.50×180° chasme ka no. diya tha aur unhone kaha tha ki ise 24 hours pahnan hai otherwise chasme ka number badhega..!! mam maine 4-5 din continue chasma pahna pr uske baad meri aankhon me eye floters create ho gaye.. kya jyada chasma pahnne se eye floters aaye hain ya koi or reason hain.. chasma nhi pahna tha usse pahle ek bhi eye floter nhi tha.. 😢

Mam my daughter is 8 years old...she has -3.5 & -4.5 Cylindrical power.is it a matter of worry? How can I treat it? After testing for the first time this power comes out.
@@bhubanmandal1001 This power is high, but common. Please keep getting her checked regularly to see if cylindrical power is increasing. If it is increasing, some testing may be needed.

@@AbhiSinghand Its not necessary as your cylindrical number is very less. Wear glass power that gives you maximum clear vision.

@@jayy7256 you can wear glasses if you feel any stress or headaches. Not wearing glasses, will not increase cylindrical number

I am 18 years old & have 3d cyl in both eyes and 0.5d sph also in right eye. I didn't know if I had this problem since birth but I started to find problems in reading theory written on the blackboard.
You told that eye shape takes its full place till 5 yrs but my doctor said the shape continues to change till 20-22.
I want to know that it is caused due to high screen time 6-7 hrs a day as in my case or due to any other reason.
@@shubh_5962 Cylinder is due to corneal shape which is stable after 5-6 yrs. But the eyeball keeps getting longer till 21-22 years. Hence spherical power can keep increasing uptil 21-22 yrs
