- 2023 is officially the year of the 3-Yard Quilt!
Each week, a new video will be posted for a quilt made from the 3-Yard book series by Fabric Cafe. Three one yard cuts turn in to one lap sized quilt top. Easy enough, right?
The goal for these quilts is to use as much of my stash as possible in order to clear space for new fabrics, notions and more! In the end, the quilts will be donated to local charities and individuals in need of a new quilt to call their own.

I am so thrilled that you now have the complete collection of Fabric Cafe pattern books!! I watch all of the Fabric Cafe videos and I remember them mentioning your channel which was so exciting. What a nice thing for them to do by sending you the rest of the books. I use their patterns often as I am making quilts to leave to my family someday. I have only been quilting for about three years but sewing for many, many years. I am 76! I love watching you make your quilts and they all turn out so adorable. When my grandkids were little (all grown with kids of their own now) I would take them to all the Disney movies. I made a comment once about nobody else was taking them. They told me "But Gram, you like these movies" Can't argue with that

I love that series of books from Fabric Cafe. I just received the "Modern.." book from Amazon the other day. I've sewn another of their quilt tops from their books and I love them all. Some were easier than others but so fun! Your Trixie looks so naughty rolling on your quilt top, so reminds me of my kids when they were crawling. Almost 40 years ago! Keep on sharing, I love your fabric choices for this series. You are an awesome young lady!
First time viewer. When I make a three yard quilt, I get the reaction from other quilters “ oh, that’s a three yard quilt”. As if it isn’t a good or fancy enough quilt! I like making them also

Im so glad that Fabric Cafe recognized you! I like your fabric choices and color combos much better tham theirs! Id live to see ( from either you or them) some ways to be more creative woth their patterns...ie usimg small panels or multiple fabrics as the focus...

Love this pattern! Wondering what it would look like if where you put Lilo & Stitch I alternated police, fire & rescue? My grandson, who is 4, loves those vehicles.
I think that would be a fantastic idea! I need to look more in to my other smaller pieces I have to see if I can come up with some variations as well
Do you have issues with accuracy of your blocks since you don’t iron the fabric first?
It actually hasnt been far off at all, which is surprising to me as well
Do you do long arm for others?
Currently, just for locals so I don't have to stress about shipping as well as I'm able to work it in with my full time day job schedule. If that ever changes, I'll be sure to announce it!
How do you manage to cut without ironing????
it works okay for some patterns, others not so much... 😅
