Last year, I’ll let you talk me out of not getting the G4. I’m definitely getting a TV this year and yes, I’m looking at the G5 83 inches. Price is not my concern but if there’s any reason other than that, tell me why I should not get G5 or why I should get it. thanks I appreciate your thoughts.

I think TCL was the winner for the most likely mainstream affordable tech, but I think Hisense showed the most innovation with the RGB mini-led and 136” “consumer-available” Mircro-led.
I think TCL has definitely stollen the show. Cannot wait for their flagship TV to be revealed at some point this year and I will be a buyer at 98 inches. Especially with the new panel that should greatly improve off angle viewing. Can’t really ask for more than that as long as it has improved Motion processing and dimming.
@Timmy1212121 I seriously doubt it will be less than about 5 years. The problem with Micro led is that that are so small and have to be placed so specifically that the smaller you get the harder it gets to be super precise. The margin of error goes up and up the smaller the TV gets and that's why we only see them in huge sizes. I can't see them being commercially made/affordable for several more years.
If I had the funds back in October 24 I would have chosen the TCL qm8. Instead I opted for the TCL c645k 55 inch qled tv I'm really impressed with the picture quality saying no more 🤓
I have a TCL 2024 QM8 its a very good Mini QLED. But in 2025 I have to put my money on Hisense. If you know anything about TV'S Hisense is going to blow TCL out of the water in 2025. TCL pretty much just changed around model numbers and did minor cosmetic changes on their TVs. Hisense is doing some serious innovation in 2025.

For me having the TCL 4 series 55" 4K smart TV is obviously the best out of any other Tvs in my opinion
Samsung didn't show the 65/77inch S95F at the show cause it will outshine the 83 inch S95F(WOled) and most importantly everything else

Hopefully the software allows you to change the HDMI signal below 4k for computer gaming so no software can change it.

But in 2025 I have to put my money on Hisense.
