what got me more into stray kids is the fact that the leader which is bangchan a.k.a chris handpicked all the members to form a group. It's very unusual for a company, especially for JYP which is a well known company among the kpop industry to trust chan, which is a señior trainee at the time to pick certain individuals to debut with. And on top of that, chan must've picked these talented individuals (which we all adore) very very carefully. I mean he knew what's he's doing when he collected these talented and versatile boys who grew up to be these confident men we that we see today. Hey nice reaction right there, if you want to watch stray kids survival show- well its not really a survival show, but a showcase on their preparation of their debut, u can see their struggles and dorkiness there. Also, if you want to see more of their versatility, I recommend you to watch 'Kingdom: The legendary war" it's a battle of performances with other boy groups which are: The Boyz, Ateez, Btob, Ikon, and sf9, and if you want to see the behind the scenes of their performance you can always watch it on their channel, stray kids or the JyP channell^^^

@@YoEthan there's a lot of speculation about Woojin...some believe he terminated his contract voluntarily because of creative differences, others believe he was kicked out for violating the contract in some way. nothing was explicitly confirmed but there's signs that point to both possibilities, so I personally think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. what we do know for sure is that they didn't part on good terms, sadly. the news of him leaving came without any warning, and he left RIGHT before a comeback/world tour. it put the rest of the group (and the fandom) through so much stress and turmoil, and Bang Chan alluded to it being "almost like a betrayal" during a livestream. (his words.) ppl on both sides of the conflict got a ton of hate. 😞 that's why a lot of stays don't like to talk about it or still feel sensitive about Woojin. @@YoEthan yup. aside from the vague official statement JYP made about Woojin leaving for "personal reasons", and the not-so-subtle things Chan said in his livestream a few months later...nobody knows for sure what happened, and I doubt we ever will. kpop companies tend to be pretty hush-hush about this kind of stuff from what I hear. :( and very true. Stray Kids has been pretty open about the fact that they all used to fight and had to grow as people, in the beginning. that authenticity is one of many things I respect about them. :) but when you look at their chemistry, it's clear that they love and support each other like family. all the pain they went through that year has only brought them closer, and it's so wonderful to see as a fan. they deserve that happiness. as we stays like to put it: *8 is fate!*
