Honestly these are all super cozy games that just fit the perfect late 2000’s early 2010 niche
Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports and Resort and Wii Party.
We didn't have a lot of money at the time so the few games I had hold a special place in my heart.

New Super Mario Bros Wii was by far my most played game, it was the one thing my brother and I would look forward to play together after school
Super Paper Mario is my favorite, never thought I’d want story in a Mario game
I never liked a storyless Mario game as much after spm was my first maro game ever
Honestly those games are the only Mario games I go on my way to actually buy, miss the Mario & Luigi series...

Punch Out Wii was pretty good. The work they put in animations is great. Landing star punches is a joy and each match is fun to learn.
I especially like the special TKO animations.
I love punch out wii a game that I haven’t gotten to the level of too good for the CPU’s yet so it’s still fun
@@FlygonkingVGC It's definitly really good. The visuals the music. It is certainly some great fun. It is a game I love love to revisit time and time again. I made like 2 videos of it as well. Just an amazing installment to an already amazing series.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is my all time favorite console game. The graphics are… slightly questionable but it makes up for that in amazing story, gameplay, soundtrack, and a frick ton of nostalgia if you play it again after a year or so

I know it’s not a Wii exclusive but LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga was the first video game I ever played and I will never forget that.
Mario Galaxy is my favorite game of all time. It holds a special place in my heart.
Twilight Princess on the GameCube, which was compatible with the Wii, was my favorite game. I played it so much the disc wore out.

5) Ghost Squad: when I saw my favorite arcade game that was no longer at the arcade I went to at Gamestop being sold used for around $10, I flipped out and had to get it. No regrets at all!
4) New Super Mario Bros Wii: friend of mine used to come over and play some levels with me. Having a friend to exploit bubbling made the game much more relaxing.
3) Kirby's Epic Yarn: the aesthetic is absolutely wonderful! Such a comfortable, beautiful game to play.
2) Super Smash Bros Brawl: it took Melee to a whole-nother-level! When I was hanging out with friends at a friend's house and we'd opt to play Brawl I was all for it. I eventually got my own Wii and my own copy and absolutely LOVED the story mode and all the other modes and extras that continued and expanded from Melee.
1) Super Mario Galaxy: this game was the first 3d platformer Mario game I couldn't hate if I tried. No bs levels the way Sunshine and 64 had, it was much more relaxing and enjoyable to play overall. The music was absolutely gorgeous. This game defined my experience with the Wii (just over Brawl) and really came in around Christmas time at a difficult time of loss and financial struggle in our home and I think ultimately helped me to move on through it mentally.
Honorable mentions:
Animal Crossing City Folk: I intended to play the game much more than I did, but never brought myself to. I never had an issue with the game and listening to its soundtrack on UA-cam really brings back nostalgia from the hours I've spent on Wild World that I never shared with City Folk. Still a game I want to get myself addicted to because I know I very well can.
Mario Kart Wii: My Wii came in late and I finally got one at a time when Xbox 360 was losing me. I never got myself to get MKW then and until 2016 to add to my massive backlog of many different games across many different platforms. I do really intend on playing it.
i wasnt fortunate enough to have bought mario kart wii as a kid, but recently, its become my favorite wii game because my friend would always brag how she was better than me at coconut mall, so that really rekindled the fire to play the game
Smg 2 is one of the three first games (my dad got me and my brother Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros Wii, and SMG 2. I would play that game for hours. I sucked at video games, so I never could beat some of the cosmic star (the starcoin levels), but I loved every moment of it.
Listening to the soundtrack can bring tears to my eyes.
This game is a masterpiece among many works of art.

Super mario galaxy is my die hard favorite of any nintendo game. It also doesn't help that me and my brother didn't have a lot of wii games growing up but I always cry every time I hear a SMG song play, nothing screams nostalgia more.
Same. It is easily in the top three games of all time for me, and it is quite possibly my favorite video game ever. Such a unique and special experience that I'm proud to have grown up with.
Mario Galaxy / 2, NSMB, Mario Kart, Wii Sports / Resort, and the whole Lego franchise occupied my entire childhood.
I'm glad you consider SMG1 and SMG2 as one game, since SMG2 is essentially a "lost levels"
Sonic Colors is nostalgia. Even disregarding that, it's still a blast to play
Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Brawl, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 is my personal favorite games. They really Were Great.

Honestly playing Donkey Kong country return was some of the fondest memories of playing video games with my dad as we played that together from start to finish so it’s definitely up there
My other top 5 wii games are Mario strikers, brawl, the galaxy games and Kirby return to dreamland in no particular order

Twilight Princess will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. Not only was it my 1st Zelda game, but it also helped me learn to read as a child.
The only Wii games I truly loved playing included SMG, SSBB, and dodge ball in a random playground game
Honestly, Mariokart Wii Was my favourite Mario Kart game.
I used to play it ALL the time with my dad, and it felt like the golden years of gaming. I probably have a couple thousand hours on that game.
And when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course came out with Coconut Mall, I felt like a kid again.
Mario Strikers Charged will always be cherished by my child self. So much personality on the characters in a more gritty setting.
If I made a short like this there would be no differences... Except Twilight Princess. Favourite game of all time so...
I got really scared when there was only one spot, but he hadn’t said either Galaxy game yet. Very relieved to see them both at #1. Totally agree.
Radiant dawn, mario kart wii, super mario galaxy and mario bros wii along with TP were part of my childhood

The Mario Sports games on the Wii were my favorite. Super Mario Sluggers had the best story mode of any Mario Sports game and Mario Sports Mix was an ambitious crossover with some of the best music I've ever heard (Bowser Jr. Boulevard in particular)
Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2 is not only my favorite Wii game
But my favorite game in the Mario Franchise! I remember the first time I got it I was so excited to play it and I fell in love with it
Twilight princess is one of my all time favorite games and my favorite Zelda game, it basically made my childhood and was one of the first games I remember playing.
The Lego games were extremely fun I grew up playing them

For me:
1. Epic Mickey. An underrated gem and true masterpiece that easily comes as the best on Wii.
2. Super Paper Mario. The best Paper Mario story and a real joy to play.
3. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. The pinnacle of 3D Mario, these two hold a special place in my heart for being truly magical.
4. Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Still has the best story of any Smash to date. And at the time when this was the most recent Smash, this game had everything you could want.
5. MarioKart Wii. Fun for hours and still the best Mario Kart game.
No More Heroes is a underrated gem on this piece a hardware man, the style of game, the combat, the satisfaction of pulling off combos, and the humor and vibe is unheard of especially on the wii.
I love the Wii so much man….my favorite console and my childhood. I didn’t realize how much I would cherish playing those games at the time. I still will frequently play it with my brother and with my cousins any time we see them.
I know a lot of people hate Skyward Sword but it was still one of the best Wii games
Twilight princess is my favorite game of all time to this day. Though I did manage to soft-lock myself on my first playthrough, meaning I had to start over again from the beginning. But honestly I look back on that and find it more amusing than frustrating.
Brawl, Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy, I got a Wii pretty late so I really didn't have much but those 3 was enough.

Super Mario Galaxy OST is just..... amazing. It's one of the reasons why I bought Super Mario All-stars 2.
If you haven't already, play through Skyward Sword. It's a masterpiece once you get past the motion controls.
I recently received a wii for Christmas, and have since been trying out various games. Though I've never played it, Skyward sword is my absolute favorite Zelda game and I hope I can play it one day. For the games I _have_ played, Just dance 1 and 4 are my favs.
Super Mario Galaxy was definitely a “Game Of All Time” and I don’t think it’ll be forgotten for quite awhile
I've gotta say Kirby's Return to Dreamland. My favorite video game of all time, even to the point where when I saw the announcement that it was being remade, I broke down in tears

Rabbids Go Home is one of my favourite Wii games. It's a pure underated gem on the Wii, and the best Rabbid titles up next to the Mario + Rabbids games.
1. Twilight Princess - love the game to death hands down my favourite zelda from atmosphere to dungeons to story and the point controls for the bow and stuff just felt satisfying
2. Metroid prime 3 - Despite suffering from motion gimmickitus it was a really fun game and made better by the soundtrack and story even if hypermode was busted af
3. Brawl - I spent so much time in sub space as a kid it was just so much fun collecting trophies and stickers and stuff as well as unlocking everyone
4. Mario kart wii - easily the best mario kart in my opinion nothing much more to say really soundtrack was solid circuit selection was solid and some of the inventive boosts and what not were amazing to witness
5. Link's crossbow training - honestly underrated spinoff game it was a fun little party game you'd play with friends or family and try and compete with each other to eek out those last few points to edge out the victory

I can’t make a list because of how much I love the Wii. It was my childhood. Sluggers, MKwii, galaxy, brawl, dk country, Wii sports, Kirby, etc. So great.
I think this list should have been a top 10. There are so many good Wii games that I love that I felt like should be mentioned, such as Paper Mario.

Smash for the 3ds and Wii U, Splatoon, and Nintendoland are the most nostalgic games for me. I miss playing them with my uncle but he sold his Wii U as well as his Wii.

Miitopia, Mario Kart DS, Mario Galaxy 2, Sonic Mania, and Smash Bros Brawl are some of my favorites. I grew up with the DS & Wii, Sonic Mania is probably one of the games I didn’t expect to like as much as I did, and Miitopia has so much replayability.
Connecting my DS to the Wii to play Pokemon Battle Revolution on my friend's giant ass TV was always a great time
The list is nearly perfect just put Xenoblade and Sonic and the Black Knight in place of DKCR and MKWII then change some placements then it’s perfect
Personally, I've always loved Super Paper Mario. Like, Mario goes to hell and a neck beard tries to hit on Peach using an anime dating simulator. What else do you want?

I can absolutely and utterly agree with this right here. I grew up on these games (except Zelda and Smash, cuz my parents thought it was too violent with the T rating and stuff) but playing them now I knew kid me would have liked them. And holy shit did I put so many hours into the Galaxy games as a lad.
Mine was “New Super Mario Bros Wii” it is a all time favorite and will always stay in my heart!

5: Super Mario Galaxy/Galaxy 2. I love these games so much and they're so nostalgic.
4: Just dance 2018. Being my first Just dance game it holds a special place in my heart and I love the songs they chose for this game.
3: LoZ Twilight Princess. I LOVE this game, it's beautiful and it's also a really fun game and it was nostalgic, I love LoZ.
2: Super Paper Mario. Aside from TTYD and TOK this is my favorite Paper Mario. I just love the story and it was a unique Paper Mario game so I love it.
1: Kirby's Return To Dreamland. I love this game SO MUCH. The music, the bosses, the gameplay. I LOVE IT ALL. The game is so nostalgic I remember playing it with my older sisters and my cousin it was sooo fun. When it was revealed that _______ was the villain I literally jumped up and screamed "CALLED IT!" I love the game and it's so good.
Man I miss my Wii. It died 2 years ago and the bag we kept the controllers in got moldy so we had to get rid of it. At least KRTD is coming to the switch and JD18 and SMG are there too.
Honorable Mentions: Punch Out! Wii, Wii Sports, All the other Just Dance games I didn't mention, Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Mario galaxy and Mario galaxy 2 were very inspiring after I watch a 602 speedrun by 360chrism and that’s still a good game to this day for me.
Based, and BTW, you can still play MKW online, people have been able to keep a fanmade server created, not only that, but theres a lot o custom tracks, so it would be cool seeing you play it.
The best Wii game I've ever played is the Battle Force 5 game. Nothing else comes close to how much fun I have playing that game other than when I used to play Skylanders Giants back in the day. I also really like the Goldeneye remake.
