I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
Actually it has to do with the oil that's inside the refrigerant that lubricates the Piston inside the compressor. Same thing goes for a refrigerator if you move a refrigerator in the back of a pickup truck and lay it on its side when you go to stand it back up and put it in place in your kitchen make sure you leave it rest awhile to let the oil get back down into the bottom of the compressor before plugging it in
my only concern is that if you don’t have a ground plug in the middle of your living room (or wherever you are putting it), those running cord is gonna look pretty ugly...
The way they show to run the cable is to get a rug, and cut a hole in the rug, then route the cable through that, and under your sofa, to your nearest power outlet.
Just ordered mine through wayfair and I cant wait. I feel like your review is pretty honest so I must ask. The noice. On a scale of 1-10 how loud is it. I believe (like most small fridges) the noice will be noticable but will be getting someone to get use to... but what's your opinion and again, scale 1-10? Please and thank you
I would say 5. Definitely would appreciate it being a bit more quiet. I'm a pretty obsessive person, might be a 2 or 3 to someone else. I hardly notice it anymore. If you plan on placing the table in a living room or game/entertainment room I wouldn't worry about the noise much.

Does it have wireless charging on the top surface? If you’re paying out a thousand dollars for a cutting edge piece of kit surely you shouldnt need to plug in an ugly cable to charge your phone.

They have a somewhat decent solution for running the cord. It doesn't bother me much at the moment but I'll figure it out at some point.

Honestly it is a bit loud. I've gotten use to it now but I do wish it was quieter. Still the coolest table ever, with room for improvement.

Yea I definitely wouldn't buy for the speakers alone. It is a cool feature along with the fridge and LED underglow though.
