It totally depends upon you if you can play its good,
scale D A D A is good for playing every song but if you need to play from C you can tune it to pa sa pa sa also
Mai abi beginner hu mera violin PA sa pa sa pattern mai hai...but...for learning easy konsa hoga GDAE or GCGC

It is in Pa Sa Pa Sa from a long time. I have been practicing in that.
Its your choice , but all the official Indian Classical music players use sa pa sa pa only

Yes you are right but the lower C string is very expensive not everybody can afford that
So I use same G D A strings for sa pa and sa
Last instead of E I use 3 no. string of sitar or there is another measurement 30 no. String of sitar
I use normal strings only "of karuna brand" and for E string i use sitar's string no. 3 as low C string is very expensive you cannot afford it again and again so the karuna strings works just fine
@@violinistsachinsatija2165 So can I or should I not tune E string (that comes with Violin) in B4 (as per your video here)? Tuning string E in E4 is a standard practice as per english music. B4 frequency (493.88Hz) here is of course lower than E4 (659 Hz). I am confused. I don't want to sound technical here but this is curious question to understand this technicality. Please answer.
Yes the string won't sound good but for practice you can do it we actually use 30 number string of a sitar to make it sound better

Yes please you definitely need a teacher but due to covid you can't go anywhere near you so you can call some teachers and attend video sessions... unfortunately the school where I work dosen't allows me to teach outside so just contact me I'll guide you and try to provide a teacher who can teach you

Sir a part my chin rest' wood was beginning to rot..i had to remove it.Will it make any effect while playing...I'm a level 1 student,but now trying to learn by myself a little till i find a teacher.i don't wish to let my violin sleep.please guide me sir.
No, chin rest works with the shoulder rest like western musicians play by standing, we don't use the chin rest while we play in the sitting position... so don't worry it won't affect the sound of your violin, you can continue your practice

I am from Mauritius and i began with western violin but later join hindustani..Here it is quite hard to find a teacher for hindustani music with proper timings..Would it be advisable to learn & practice with the help of only internet..do you provide personalised online course?
Yes you can have video sessions till the Quarantine is there after that not regularly but sometimes i can take

Can you please guide how to tune violin in pa sa pa sa method??
Like used in Hindustani classical.
Sa pa sa pa is used by Hindustani Classical Musicians but if you want to play in Pa Sa Pa Sa then you have to go a little bit lower in scale
It will be G C G C or G# C# G# C# or A D A D
Pa Sa Pa Sa is used in initial stages or by kids to learn Sa Re Ga Ma properly or some musicians have a 5 string violin so they tune in sa pa sa pa sa which is easier than normal sa pa sa pa
But which method have less stress on strings??

Pa Sa Pa Sa has more stress
That's why you have to lower your scale down to C or C#

Sir a simple way. Remove the slipping peg and Powder the small amount of resin and apply it on the peg. Now fix the peg back to the scroll head.
