0:28 girrlllll that's actually a good thing!!! and it absolutely means that you should play it more when learning guitar your practice shouldn't sound good, because if it sounds good, it means that it isn't challenging enough. one of the best things you can do when starting out is playing songs that are slightly out of your skill set, even if it sounds bad, because muscle memory will eventually kick in and let you play it well! remember, chord changes are pretty much all muscle memory, so by changing to the shape of the chord, even if it's poorly done, it's gonna help you out building that muscle memory

With the c to dm that you are struggling with. I would suggest just play two strums c two strums dm. Over and over and over. Consentrate on getting accurate. Remember, go slow to get fast. Chord changes are a matter of muscle memory. Also, in my opinion. Strumming "patterns" are not the way to think. Timing, and feel are the important things. Good luck, and keep going. You will improve, and find it easier. We live in a time when youtube is a click away, and tutorials abound! Peace and love.

Two tips: Use your elbows when strumming and not your wrists (unless it's a very fast song or something) And when changing chords, try to learn how to make a chord shape in the air in front of the fret board and then land all of your fingers on the correct frets at the same time instead of putting one finger at a time. (Learn this from Justin guitar) This helps you change chords fast and smoothly instead of it being a bit choppy. Keep it up.
