Thank you for your comment. That's right. Tamiya rebox in October 2020. It was released with a pilot figure and RAM lines decals. ITEM No.60791 JPY ¥4,180
Panel line decals are not included in the kit. I all masked and painted. Masking was a very time-consuming task. The Academy's F35B kit includes panel line decals.
Fitting is good as it is a new tool product, but the 4 door hinges in the Weapon Bay need adjustment. There is no difficulty other than painting the panel line.Painting the panel line is very time consuming.
I really do not understand how this video ( and not only this one) is called " step by step" .Let's say in a roughly way" jump, skip, and cut". I was interested to know about painting and, more all over , about masking zigzagged borders of the fuselage ( if for example the method was a free-hand painting by using small paint brush or direct air brushing and then masking all the lines millimeter by millimeter spending a great deal of time. I do not contest the final result ( really excellent) but the procedure (wishy washy). Have a nice day!
Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry I couldn't live up to your expectations. I'm making a short video that introduces the contents of the kit, not a video that introduces painting and crafting techniques. The panel line of the F-35B was painted with a liquid mask (GSI Creos Mr. MASKING SOL R).
Great Job . Like your video style ! Wales UK.

Great looking model, such detail 👍👏 How did you paint the raised RAM lines?
Thank you!
I used a liquid mask Mr.HOBBY "Mr.MASKING SOL R".
The work of cutting with a knife is very troublesome.
Thanks for the tip! I couldn't agree more with you about the knife and masking tape 😃
For the grey base colour of the F-35, did you leave it as the original spruce colour?
Thank you for your comment.
Not spruce color. All painted.
Body: Mr.Color No.305 Gray FS36118
RAM line;Mr.Color No.337 Grayish Blue FS35237
Very nice build. By the way, did Tamiya rebox this kit (and add its own pilot figure) to become Tamiya 60791?
Thank you for your comment.

Are the different coloured lines over the panel lines decals or did you have to mask them?

Scale Models JPN ok thanks 🙏
Do the flaps move?
The flap does not move. Must be glued and fixed.
How's the fit like? Any problems?

@@ScaleModelsJPN Okay, thanks for the reply. That's a nice build BTW!
